10 years is a long way off. Think of 10 years ago, and see if your club captain now was playing first grade then.

For current dragons mentioned in this thread as potentials, in ten years;

Dean Young - 32
Ben Creagh - 30
Ben Hornby - 35

Most retirements these days are around 30-32 years with a few, but not many exceptions.

My guess is probably Dean Young will captain the Dragons after Baz, but don't think he'll be around in 10 years time, and the captain will be one of the current Flegg players.

he has not even played a game for u and your calling him a future captain

Pearce only because I cant think of any Rooster (besides Soward but hes already been said) still playing the game in 10 years time.

Yeh i heard alot of talk that he is really stuck up and many players in the blues squad didnt like his attitude and or much 'forward' personality!

Let his dropping from the squad be analyised how u see it fit..

Proof is an unsourced claim about comments from senior Origin players?

I've seen hundreds of players out on the piss, there just like everyone else but if i were to accidently tip a table over nothing would be said of it. But if Watmough would accidently tip a table over it would be "Drunken League star involved in pub brawl"

I agree here that any of these three would do the job well - although I have a feeling that its not a role Benji will seek, I think it will come down to a choice between robbie and liam.

I've been saying for years that robbie will captain australia one day let alone the tiges so I stand by that - but I wont be at all unhappy if Liam is the one that ends up with the job either.

There was a quote in the paper with Benji saying that hopefully he would one day captain the Tigers.

Hmm..So it had nothing to do with his injury or the teams drop in form?

Can members please remember to not use rumour and innuendo when referring to players and back up their "facts" with links.

Why let the truth get in the way of a good story, i know alot of 1st grade footballers and they are all human beings, but some of these stories are chicken feed compared to things ive seen and may of you guys have seen.

If they make a dick of themselves stiff sh*t as long as it doesnt hurt anyone else.

The 'truth', be it rumour or innuendo or even true, without a link or a source can be the catalyst for this forum being shut down if we arent careful.

When a player, or anyone is named in a post....if damaging enough the end result can finish up in court.

If they (players or anyone) makes a dick of themselves, with out a legitimate source or link, it could possibly hurt every member of this very forum.

This isnt like having a beer in a pub with a mate and a few choice words or lies about players disappear as soon as theyre spoken, words here hang around.
