Where would you put it though? I work in North Sydney (or occasionally go into the office 🤣) but it seems like there would be a lack of space
From a casual look at Google maps satellite view, there seems to be ample space to put a rectangular stadium somewhere in the parkland by North Sydney Oval

Dare I say that if public transport inks between there & all suburbs north of the bridge can be up to a decent standard, there may be a case for a sporting precinct there (the oval, plus a rectangular ground for a team that plays for the WHOLE north side).

Whats the point in that when the SFS is just over the bridge... if there ever a need for a Northern stadium it has to be way north, but closer to access for the northern beaches too..
Somewhere like lindfield, killara or gordon

Great, I give you permission to tear up the parkland because nobody needs green space..

Just give the Tigers' licence to the Easts Tigers and relocate Sharks to Perth.

Brisbane Tigers at Lang Park and West Coast Sharks at Perth Oval.

Give Perth Oval a proper upgrade by rebuilding the north and west grandstands. That solves two headaches in Sydney and makes the game more national.

Would lose more fans then they will ever gain doing that

Cool, so a greenfield site somewhere there, then?

Christchurch did it with Hagley Park, carving off a section of that for their new dedicated cricket oval, which was necessary after Lancaster Park was earthquake-condemned - so there is precedent quite recently for a city to repurpose PART of their green space for a sporting venue.

Except there's no need to repurpose state listed green space at north sydney

‘It was the greatest experience ever. The hill was fantastic. I also only had to wait an hour to go to the toilet’

Sat in tiny plastic seat but lots of flashing lights & corporate boxes. Will always take those memories with me, not the result of the game or atmosphere..

Wouldn’t need to do that, there’s a second oval there that could be redeveloped. The real problem is it’s just too close to the existing Moore Park precinct.
