So what's happening? Is every suburban ground going to fall apart at roughly around the same time?

Is that the new tactic to get funding?
Sounds like it, either that or somethings happening in 2 years we don’t know about, maybe rising sea levels in the shire?

Just give the Tigers' licence to the Easts Tigers and relocate Sharks to Perth.

Brisbane Tigers at Lang Park and West Coast Sharks at Perth Oval.

Give Perth Oval a proper upgrade by rebuilding the north and west grandstands. That solves two headaches in Sydney and makes the game more national.

Perth can stand alone, it’s Adelaide that would benefit from a relocation

We should just go up to the Central Coast imo. All seated stadium in much better shape than the Eighth Wonder or C-town. I'm not buying the 'heartland' garbage from the club's spin doctors. For years the Leichhardt crowds have been made up of fake fans and the C-town crowds are either bandwagon or opposing fans.

You could just move to a good stadium in Sydney and that would solve a lot of your problems. You have one of the bigger supporter bases in Sydney and your membership bases are in the top few despite being an absolute basket case.

A lot of the relocation talk about the Tigers is only because they are struggling and have no direction. Your untapped potential is a lot greater than most in Sydney and I’d pick a few to relocate before your club (Manly and Cronulla anyone)

Nothing wrong with manly or cronulla...
Roosters tho....
Manly are in an area that has potential for growth if they can seize it, and even sprawl up to gosford if they are willing to embrace it,
Cronulla are so far south of sydney in a sort of similar territory and have stripped the area that once was stgeorges to the point they've become the 2nd biggest nursery in the sydney region apart from Penrith/centralwest tablelands, its exactly what people want manly or roosters to do with northern sydney. And theyve done it, with Dragons being present, unlike seaeagles/roosters with no 1st grade bears being around, keeping these areas strong in juniors and participation borders sydney, the rest of inner city teams within that bubble/border from imploding, what are roosters parra or dogs without these teams feeding them really?
Souths are the outliner for me they are tge only inner city team doing any real development, and even tigers if they get their shit together at 1st grade level, but below that thet are strong, and so is dragons and are Wollongong now and into the future.

You want to talk about moving sides or culling them, think about the clubs that are just pilfering before creating or investing in any development, barr their own 1st grade intentions, or existence
Personally i'd move the roosters out of sydney as they are a purposeful club, but running on the bones of other clubs.. they might swell be Melbourne 2.0, if so do that in Adelaide or somewhere else... and parra buys penrith and cronulla rejects, and dogs just buy, buy, buy anyone(they might change now that gus has taken control) but in the end we talk about too many sydney based clubs but only pick on the fringe clubs that are more strategic in sydneys landscape, instead of the ones that only offer their own existence, rather than them clubs taking the initiative to foster more local juniors towards 1st grade in their areas to benifit the whole league ...
Manly and Cronulla are essential as is Penrith..
The others not so much... depending on what they can bring to the table/ or what areas that they are represented or are ,mresponsible for

Wouldn't Manly be a better option for Central Coast?

They could split their games between it and the SFS.

No because there is no transport link, road, rail or ferry

Manly to Homebush is much easier than SFS2 when Easter Show buses are running, as they are direct

SFS today is bus - ferry - tram or bus(to Wynyard) - tram. Its a fundamental peninsula problem
