NQ has a suburban stadium and we're not exactly filling it. Glass houses and all.

Tough one that......

Australia would be so much better off if so many f**king bogans didn't live here.

Can't you have a mature discussion?
Honestly?

You think equating grass hills with 'bogans' is to be taken seriously?
And if you think this country is too 'bogan' for you there's nothing stopping you f**king off to your choice of eurotrash sokka utopias where you can sit on, stand on or smash all the plastic stadia seats you wish.

When you think about it, given the obesity problem growing in Australia hills may be the answer. You can just reduce capacity as people take up more space, they will burn more calories standing up and they would have to walk to get a pie rather than being served in a seat.

Of course that would only work if they get off their lard asses and away from their TV long enough to go to a game which most of Sydney's bogans won't.

suburban grounds can get alright crowds when the weather is good, but when the weather is bad, the attendance is often bad. some of us aren't bothered about the weather, but a lot are, especially if they are taking children. the nrl should make it so a ground has to have a certain number of under cover seats to have an nrl game there

If you get fine weather sunday 4pm,as the Dragoons v Sharks showed ,you crack 18,000 ,with the hill full as a constipation.
The next test will be similar timing sunday 12th july at Remondis same derby.

That being said ,I would prefer a 20,000 seat suburban stadium, where everyone can be seated on their fat a*ses .

Crowds will attend matches depending on scheduling, and the opponents involved and transport situation e.g. Fridays and Monday nights. are restrictive.
Fact Manly fans will not travel on weeknights, ditto Sharks and Penrith.

According to Kent the NRL will be demanding control over scheduling of matches as part of the next TV deal. That has to be a plus.

Monday nights get the ratings on TV,but drag the crowds down big time.Forget monday nights at ANZ/SFS,concentrate on suburbans and big country towns.

why don't you just move back to hull?

Haha the Australian redneck response to anyone who dares to think this is not a land of milk and honey. In answer because Australia needs my taxes lol (and have you ever been to Hull?)

Look at the pommie tosser coming out in him now.

Perth red has never had me fooled for one second
This stadium bullshit is merely an excuse for him to whinge about the NRL.

It's not their fault you picked a place with no footy team to live .
