i just remeber they used construction scaffolding as "corporate viewing areas"

i hate seeing these generic aami park stadiums, with the only difference being the colour of the seats, if your gonna make one make one with charcter

I don't think the renderings seen in the video are what they are planning to do with it, well from the few versions I have seen at least. I think it was just a generic "stadium goes here" kinda thing.

wasn't at origin 3, but could feel the atmosphere through the tv. i kinda wish they would just knock down anz stadium and build something like suncorp stadium in that location, but with a retractable roof. seats on the sides and ends very close to the field and steep rows of seats, so it feels like you are right over the action. blue seats though, ofcourse. f**k upgrading the sfs and parra stadium. sfs is fine for the roosters and waratahs, and if the eels and wanderers need a bigger capacity for some games, then they can play a few suburbs to the east at the new stadium at sydney olympic park! you know it makes sense!

How much of that atmosphere was the QLD crowd just being rabid about their team though? Blues fans just don't give the same level of f**ks as Maroon supporters do.

That and the stadium management put together a great pre-game build up. ANZ stadiums idea of getting the crowd fired up is to play the same Puff Daddy "Godzilla" song every f**king game.

What a mish mash of cobbled together crap.
One end they have that great old members section
Then they have what looks like something out of Jetsons with a collection of mismatched smaller seating area's in between.
It looks ridiculous.
Not going to mention ( but I will ) the art gallery full of ancient cricket snobs the players have to walk past
to even get on the pitch.
