I mean it says it all in the title really. 2.7 billion was an outrageous price for a stadium and the whole reason for the review was to get a better value for money, yet they somehow end up with an option that costs 700 million more?

This won't happen. The public backlash against both the destruction of the Victoria Park Parklands and the construction of a white elephant stadium which is overkill for AFL and Cricket and leaves no legacy for the three rectangular codes including the city's undisputed number 1 sport will see this proposal get killed off.What the actual f**k?!
