Question is, what's in it for the AFL?
Question is, what's in it for the AFL?
An attempt to take over a traditionally RL ground by stealth, like they have done in the past.Question is, what's in it for the AFL?
Swans women play thereQuestion is, what's in it for the AFL?
PricksSwans women play there
plus looks like they are taking over getting a league ground (tried birchgrove oval years ago)
I think the opposite genitalia is the word you’re looking for.Pricks
Is Newtown still going to play there?Swans women play there

Is Newtown still going to play there?
f**k off afl. Didn’t Sydney learn from that the giants did to Blacktown ratepayers
I wish I had said that. Oh, wait.plus looks like they are taking over getting a league ground (tried birchgrove oval years agoago
Well, thanks AFL for the upgradesYeh I’d assume so
there would be an outcry if they got booted out
The outrage about stadiums has always confused me anyway. Anyone with half a brain should know that a quality stadium is a revenue generating asset for a city / state and therefore helps put money back in the Govt coffers for the hOsPItaLS and sChoOLs through a local pro sporting club paying rent to play there and by attracting large sporting and music events. This is going to be a bit of a rant but it annoys me how some things get absolutely no scrutiny when it comes to funding. Right now 2.1 billion dollars is being thrown at the M1 motorway upgrades which frankly are a f**king huge waste of money and will do little to fix any of the problems (whilst making the problems MUCH worse for all the years it takes to happen).
Yet because it’s a road and not a stadium you don’t get nearly the same outrage. That amount of money being spent on public transport could transform the Hunter instead like always we piss it away on roads which will end up just as congested and cost a fortune to maintain.
Sunshine Coast lead the way: it was an oval, and they built a grandstand on one side of the oval to make it impossible to play
Well, thanks AFL for the upgrades
Hispters of Newtown would go there tbfThere is occasional discussion on Big Footy that Henson would be a good home ground for GWS. Obviously by people with no idea of Sydney geography
The GWS women’s team are playing all their home games there. Swans women split games between Hansen and North Sydney. AFL is on good terms with Newtown- the seasons don’t cross over. There is occasional discussion on Big Footy that Henson would be a good home ground for GWS. Obviously by people with no idea of Sydney geography
Would it kill the nrl to invest some money in some grounds ??
