Looks like other sports are now taking up the cudgels of sporting facilities. Was an article in today's Sunday Telegraph about the 2000 Olympic Velodrome and other facilities at Sydney Olympic Park, including Accor itself, which require significant investment in as they are almost unsuitable for competitive use as little hasd been spent on them. I can't find the story online though to post a link, sorry.
