If we are going to continue playing NRL games there they should at least move the ground from the middle to one end and use the other end as like a play ground for kids, jumping castles or a small transportable bleacher stand or whatever. As it is both ends are about 30m from the dead-ball line. Make one end 5 metres from the dead ball.

Which Sydney grounds should be getting upgrades? Or would there be a new BankWest stadium in MacArthur or Southern Sydney area?
Campbelltown would be one of the leading contenders but after that???
Time for the GF to go north of the boarder now

I wanted to see both stadiums revamped, but putting ANZ ahead of Allianz would've been ridiculous given the safety issues around Allianz and the fact it's more than 10 years older.

They should’ve demanded simultaneous construction at minimum, so there couldn’t be any change of hearts. NRL got totally played on this by more powerful figures.

You're like the Sergey Bubka of ridiculous 'NRL suggestions' . As high as you set the bar, each week you come up with an even more ridiculous suggestion. Well done Sergey.

Unclear why the Powerhouse relocation is still going ahead, it seems to have a similarly questionable business case. And a missed opportunity to make the new SFS a 70k seater that would be suitable for GF and Origin as well as club games.

70k at Moore park is a complete non starter. When they proposed a 55k stadium the shit hit the fan.

he wants to spend a fortune on making these suburban venues a smaller capacity than they already are?

A few points:
1 PVL needs to be careful holding a gun to their head, he still needs all sorts of cooperation from them to continue RL's trek back to the new normal, whatever that is.
2. Like most, I can't see the cost-benefit sense of one-tenant stadiums at Manly and Penrith
3. Should be going for at least 25-30k stadiums and not settle for the shit crowds that we get already.

for a supposed numbers genius he doesn’t seem to understand you need a big modern stadium to generate the sort of fan and corporate based revenue nrl clubs are going to need in the future now the media know they can pay a lot less for the game .
Unless your talking about getting these grounds up to 25k 80% undercover, seated and with 2000 plus corporate seats/boxes then it should not be entertained or the haves amd have nots of the nrl will continue to grow and hold the game back.
