College sport is also gross.

A star running back can be ruined for life before they can even start earning a salary.

The good ones have insurance policies (Jaylon Smith is an example of this) so if they get injured they get paid plus don't get brain injuries' from playing in the pros, plus get a degree and life long networks. The bad ones would not make any money anyway. Only a very small percentage of college football players complain.

To tie this back into stadiums the NRL would have better stadiums if the fans were more passionate than they are, which would require the NRL to listen less to the clubs and ex players than they do and more to smart people.

So you're saying hard physical profit making labour should be paid in exposure?

It’s official, panthers getting brand new stadium. Well done Panthers. Great to see another club come into the 21st century.

Smacks of politics. If it wasn't NSW Sports Minister Stuart Ayres' seat I highly doubt they'd be getting a new stadium.

Well done panthers? Don’t the council own the grounds. What did Penrith do other than say thanks.

The Minister for Western Sydney & former NSW Sports Minister Stuart Ayres is their local MP and a Panthers fan.
Yeah I’m aware of that heard him on the radio defending the money not going to hospitals or teachers.

Point I’m making is giving Penrith any credit for this is misdirected, that point can’t be disputed. Even panthers fans would just be happy they are getting it for free.

Can just imagine the sooking and whining in here if ScoMo who is the member for Cook and a Sharks fan announced the government was tipping in money for the further redevelopment of Shark Park.

I live in Adelaide you merkin what do you expect me do?

It's not like I can fly back to Sydney any time I want can I?

Especially not with expensive flights and jittery state premiers who open and close borders like they have bowel movements.
Maybe you could get a Kayo subscription and watch the NRL, NSW Cup, Queensland Cup and English Super League?

If you're desperate to see a game in the flesh then go watch the SARL or NRLSA.

If you truly cared about RL then you would champion the prospect of relocating your beloved Sharks to Adelaide so you can watch them 12 times a year. When this idea was put forward your response was to throw a tantrum like some one in a straight jacket at a lunatic asylum.

With SFS, Stadium Australia and Penrith Football Stadium getting rebuilt, the game has never had better stadia.

Lang Park
Marathon Stadium
Melbourne Rectangular Arena
Parramatta Stadium
Penrith Football Stadium
Robina Stadium
Stadium Australia
Sydney Football Stadium
Townsville Stadium

The only clubs in need of a new one are Raiders and Warriors.

Any chance of Warriors playing out of Eden Park?

I can't see Mt Smart Stadium getting rebuilt and there's no demand for a brand new facility in Auckland.

If Manly don't want to play at Brookvale then they can play at the SFS or relocate to Gosford, which has a quality stadium sitting empty and waiting for a full time NRL tennant.

Southern Sydney doesn't have the population or demand to warrant a new stadium of its own. The Dragons can split games between SFS and Wollongong Stadium.

Sharks can play at the SFS. If their fans throw a tantrum like a nutcase on drugs and refuse to attend games then send the team to Adelaide or Perth.
