So $300m for just 12 NRL games and some soccer? Expensive.

The vast majority of fans on the Wests Tigers forum don't want anything to do with Bankwest and the major issues are the Eels Leagues Club being next door and it being Parra's home ground. They would prefer the Wests Tigers to play at ANZ.For the Tigers, Rabbitohs and Bulldogs, ANZ is no better.
It's not as if any of their Leagues Clubs are adjacent to ANZ which they would inhabit on game day.
I think it has more to do with the fact they see Bankwest as the Eels home ground, and not theirs.
To be honest, I don't think the fans of any of these clubs would give a shite.
I actually think the fans of these clubs would prefer to play there, over ANZ. At least Bankwest can generate an atmosphere with even a 10000 crowd.
The fans of these clubs could always eat at the dozens of restaurants in Eat Street, which doesn't benefit Parra at all, but absolutely benefits Australians and a local community.

That's fine, but a bit weird at the same time.
A lot of Tigers fans live in the Parra district.
And, as I said, there are far more entertainment and food/beverage options than Parra Leagues Club. They should just boycott it and eat/drink elsewhere in Parra.
Surely, parking, transport, pre-game dining options and game day atmosphere are miles better at Parra than ANZ?
They can make it their home game easily for any game other than against us Eels, and then, when they have a home game against us, just take it to ANZ so we don't have the advantage. It's not rocket surgery.
They could even get Parra council to fly Tigers flags throughout the city just like they do for the Wanderers. It ain't f**king hard to engage the locals, particularly when, as I said, there are loads of Tigers fans in the area.
I agree 100%, but get shouted down on the Wests Tigers forum constantly over this issue.
Basically been told to keep my opinion to myself lol, and that I have no argument for supporting Bankwest over ANZ despite, listing all the arguments you did above and the only argument the other side has is that Bankwest is in Parramatta.Thats sad, and so short sighted and ignorant of those shouting you down tbh.

Most leagues clubs have it as the basis of their constitution to promote rugby league football in their district by supporting the district football club (which in this case would be the Parramatta Eels). As such the constitution of Parra Leagues would prevent it being considered (even if both parties were willing, which I dare say they won't be).

When Fitzy was running things at Parra he claimed that match days were worse for the leagues club as the extra crowds kept away the regular punters (I assume poker machine players who aren't necessarily bothered about rugby league)Clubs don’t want to use WSS and have their fans use Para Leagues.

I really like Bankwest, its a really great groind to watch footy at, my only complaint is that all the general public seating is on the eastern sideI’d be at WSS in a heartbeat.
I seriously don’t understand the mentality of not wanting to go there.
That said Souths were going to play there during ANZ redo. I was looking forward to visiting WSS as I didn’t get a chance last year. 2nd half of season there were three games scheduled I think.

No need to use Parra Leagues club if you don't want to, a new club has been opened 150 meters south of WSS called Club Parramatta and is run be Castle Hill RSL.So do a deal for Parra Leagues to slip them a few shekels based on crowd numbers.
No AFL clubs have Leagues clubs or even club even a club branded social venue you can visit.
I meant in the AFL states. We don’t have leagues clubs. In fact we hardly have any similar clubs Bowling Clubs or RSLs compared to NSW. Clubs are not really a thing in Victoria. We have pubs, restaurants and bars.I don't know about the other clubs but the Brisbane Lions have one in Springwood on the southside of Brisbane.
