Thanks you walked into that and just proved my point - Sunshine Coast is 105km, Caboolture is 50km, Redcliffe is the closet point to Brisbane but still 40km outside of Brisbane, just like the region the club is representing, the area north of Brisbane.

The Titans representing the Gold Coast is the same distance away from Brisbane as the Dolphins representing MBRC and the Sunshine Coast and up.
All I've proven is you're a clown
on what planet is 80kms the same as 40kms lol
give up pal , the Dolphins are Nth Brisbane , Just like Penrith universally considered a Sydney club is ( 60kms ) away from the cbd
The Panthers represent the Nepean region all the way out to Black Heath & the Blue mountains , but are one of SYDNEYS 9 clubs

The from what you are describing, the Dolphins need a NQLD or Parra type of stadium of their own somewhere that is local and in a central hub and transport location that will be appealing to most RL supporters.

Minimum 30K but probably 40+ would be better since it is only 2 teams in the whole of Brisbane.

Yes but no one would seriously suggest that the Panthers should play out of ANZ or the SFS.

Isn't it something similar?

Somewhere near the Anzac Ave exit on the Bruce Highway would be ideal imo or maybe further along Anzac Ave in Mango Hill. There is lots of spare land along there.

The second Brisbane team should have been a proper Brisbane team though that played all games out of Suncorp....

Is this area you are suggesting a built up area with pubs, bars restaurants, hotels, busses and trains? You know a well developed and mature infrastructure wise location?

If not I give it the flick. If we have learnt anything it is that the most successful and well patronized stadiums are the ones built in the middle of all of that. City locations are by far the best.

Question -
Where is the most centralized built up area of North Brisbane that is central and easy access by bus and especially train in particular that has enough space for a decent stadium?

Northlakes shopping centre is close by which definitely has restaurants and some bars/pubs. It's also serviced by train - not sure what the walking distance is though from the station. Moreton Bay isn't a very built up area, it's very suburban... Redcliffe itself has a busy established village centre but it's right on the sea front and not close to Dolphin stadium. Kippa Ring has a shopping centre which is sort of close to Dolphin Stadium but its a dump.

Maybe Caboolture/Morayfield area, all on the train line, growing quickly, in the middle of MBRC area and still room to build? Mango Hill could work - still close enough to North Lakes shopping centre and again on the train line.

Hardly ...
do penrith play out of a tinpot 10K seat venue ?

If it was Penrith coming into the 2023 season & all they had availble to them in their area to play at was a venue the size of redcliffes , they would be playing at Bankwest until they had something suitable built.

Redcliffe was the correct choice.
in your opinion, for mine Firehawks had much greater chance of appealing to the whole of Brisbane and becoming the second best supported club in the NRL. Redcliffe will struggle to be this with the continued notion of being a moreton bay club that has to play in the centre of Brisbane. Anyway that ship has sailed and we will wish them well in being successful, the more successful they are the sooner we'll see an 18th club that hopefully is a genuine expansion of the NRL.

My point exactly, so put a stadium in the middle that all fans can easily reach, ie Liverpool! Reality is Campbelltown and Belmore are not getting $400mill plus they need spent on them and Leichardt certainly isnt, but a joint stadium may just be doable. The alternative is wests stay nomads and dont grow and Bulldogs either keep playing out of shty ANZ or move permanent to Commbank which is a fair trek for their fans.
Actually I’d guess that Parramatta would be an easy trek for a helluva lot of Bulldogs supporters.
Heavily disagree - Western Suburbs have been in Campbelltown since 1986, not Liverpool. Yes, their junior system is based around Hillier Oval, but there's not much of a footprint at all. Canterbury has little to no association with the area either, aside from the land owned.

A shared ground "in the middle" just isn't feasable when, as I've said, you have a perfectly good ground at Campbelltown that can also attract council funding (reigning mayor is an avid soccer fan and supporter of the Bulls) as well as the FFA and CBS Viacom to make it look attractive on their networks, alongside the NRL. Why build somewhere else for a team where it will be more difficult to attract fans via public transport when there's so many facilities around Campbelltown? If Wests want profit, they need to hard-ball council and get a deal like the Bulls have (75k running fee vs $1 running fee) and demand the NRL bring one marquee team to the ground each season (South Sydney, Sydney Roosters, Dragons).
I’ll support you on that last point. My bro in law is a Magpies supporter and I’m a Saints supporter (no surprise I guess). We were going to each game at Campbelltown…. Well that fizzled out, Saints hardly ever got a game out here.

That would alienate half the tigers fanbase from attending, costs at least twice as much as having one new stadium for both clubs and you’d still end up with two stadiums that werent anywhere near the quality of a commbank. It makes no sense for the tigers to move to Campbelltown fulltime so the only option is stay as is for both clubs or bite the bullet centralise and get a you beaut commbank stadium to enjoy nrl in For the two of the games clubs that have real potential to grow to 20k crowds if
they play in a new easy to reach stadium.

How? The Balmange fans aren't going to trudge out to Liverpool anymore they do Campbelltown. There is ZERO reason for Wests Tigers to have Liverpool as a home venue. You keep saying it's easy to reach but, it isn't compared to Campbelltown. I could probably listen to "We Will Rock You" from when I exit the train until I enter the gates, that's how close it is. Why uplift AWAY from 2 licensed venues that have some contribution to the club as match day sponsor for.....um....nowhere local.

Redcliffe is actually only 30km from Suncorp (32km drive). It will be similar to Fremantle being 20km from Optus in Perth. Fans will come from all over Brisbane to their games at Suncorp, the same as Freo fans come from all over Perth to Freo games. I reckon two at SC and none at Redcliffe (pre-season and their eventual women's team only) is the go. Just like the Freo are half as big as West Coast, and Port Adelaide is half as big as the crows, the Dolphins should be able to achieve something similar.

39.3km compared to 18.7km according to google Maps. But yeh let’s hope so, 20k crowds should be the min we are Hoping for given how for years we’ve been hearing how brisbane fans are crying out for a different team than broncos to follow. Must be at least 10 games at Suncorp though,
