Ah so that gives you the right to misquote me then?It has nothing to do with the s.
No ones first priority is I’m definitely going to that stadium it has internet.
Might want to get in touch with some peopl o younger generations than yourself mate.

100%, however the sight lines are still much better than our main stadium in Sydney.Buffalo's is something out of the 1960's tbf.

I still stand by that wifi is not important.
Who doesn’t have unlimited data now?
I’ve never ever experienced interrupted signal in a full stadium. I’ve never even heard of that until you just said it.It's got nothing to do with unlimited data, it's the fact the actual phone networks get jammed up with larger crowds at stadiums. It used to happen at DFS in Tvl, mates would try and message you when they got to the ground to figure out where on the hill you were sitting and it was a nightmare to contact people.
Wifi at stadium serves more than just allowing kids to have tic tok and Insta.
I'd love to see PVL use his strong personality to change the attitudes of Cronulla fans, or at least try. If he were to come out and say, "Listen up Cronulla fans, but rugba league needs youse. Play games at the SFS and fill the stands in sea blue jerseys so the business case for your club is too strong to knock back. Go into the city in big numbers and let everyone know you're true blue rugba league fans from The Shire and not latte sippers from Bondi. That'll show those snobs from Melbourne that Sydney's the best city in the world cuz we have The Shire and they don't!"I get where you are coming from, I really do and I am a fan of a world class centralised stadium model but you also have to understand the communities you are talking about.
I have spent a good chunk of my life living in the shire and I can tell you the locals who are born and bred don't like leaving... for any reason. As far as they are concerned they are their own self sustained community and there is absolutely no reason to leave other than work nor would anyone in their right mind want to leave. For example, people living between Menai and Sylvania would find it just as easy to get to Kogarah as Woolooware for footy depending on traffic however one is in the shire and one is not and you just don't leave the shire.
That's just the culture in the area so I don't think the sharks moving to the CBD would ever work. If given financial incentives I could see them having 2-3 games a year at the SFS against the bigger drawing Sydney teams.
The same applies to Brisbane. I last drove into the CBD in 2017. I haven't been back because it's too stressful. The lanes are really skinny because they were built back in the day when people got around on horse and cart. The traffic is relentless. I get a bloody bad headache and sore neck from driving in that environment. Give me a country town any day.I think that applies to most of Sydney tbh cos it’s a pain in the arse getting in and out of places due to traffic, poor public transport and poor planning from the very beginning.
Nah DRAGONS going to new SFS., OUT Draw even the roosters 6 games Sfs most likely 30000 per game average.I'd love to see PVL use his strong personality to change the attitudes of Cronulla fans, or at least try. That's why if it comes down to just one of Southern Sydney's teams surviving, which is a real possibility when the older generations of rusted-on supporters die, then it will be the Dragons living on and the Sharks consigned to history. The fact the Dragons' fans are willing to travel into the CBD and have extended their supporter base to Wollongong gives them the flexibility to play at different locations and still draw a crowd, whereas Cronulla is stuck in Sutherland. The younger generations aren't producing as many rusted-on fans, which will come back to haunt the smaller clubs that refuse to diversify.Nah DRAGONS going to new SFS., OUT Draw even the roosters 6 games Sfs most likely 30000 per game average.
i've had it happen to me at Suncorp, a few years ago admittedly and when it was jam packed for a NQ game (i'm with Telstra).I’ve never ever experienced interrupted signal in a full stadium. I’ve never even heard of that until you just said it.
Places like buffalo, chicago, philly amaze me. No roofs and weather that drops to minus 10, now that is what I called committed fans! RL fans could learn a thing or two from them about not making excuses To stay home.Buffalo's is something out of the 1960's tbf.
You know what f**k Townsville and f**k Queensland. That's why if it comes down to just one of Southern Sydney's teams surviving, which is a real possibility when the older generations of rusted-on supporters die, then it will be the Dragons living on and the Sharks consigned to history. How about you stick to the AFL and stop trying to lecture the rest of us.P

Lol this is not in any way a fair comparison. Those cities have metro populations of 10M, 6M and 1M respectively. They are single team NFL cities hosting 8 games per year and they have no other football codes competing for spectators.
In the case of Chicago and philly you could have every die hard supporter go to one game each season and sell out every game with many still missing out.
what about Tuscaloosa, South Bend, Boise....the list at college level goes on and on. Small towns, no roof big attendances.
College attendance is like a religion over there and a worldwide anomaly. You are still talking 6 games a year with no competition and a high percentage of the attendance being campus students.
Tuscaloosa has a metro population smaller than Wollongong and only about 20k students living on campus and gets crowds of 100k x 7 games (that is 700k tickets through season attendance). Compare that with the Knights population 600k with roof 20k x 12 games so 240k tickets.
There are also other places that the main sport is like a religion such as Melbourne maybe Perth. England, Europe.
Newcastle is an hour from the Central Coast so the combined population is about 1m (the Knights also dont really have any competition unless you count Jets and Mariners).Dude it is an hour drive from Birmingham which has a 1M metro population and 0 professional sports teams in the city. In fact it is the largest city without one of the 4 major sports.
It is a night and day comparison with the situation in Australia.
