Proximity to Brisbane

2h versus 8h by car to Sydney

2nd tier operates on around 500k pa
Also currently they're a Titans feeder club and it makes more sense to have both Titans feeders in the same competition in terms of monitoring progress, etc.

ah the old 'Glen Morrison Memorial Shitters' getting a refurb aye?

I get the charm of Leichardt but f**k me, bulldoze the whole thing and start again. It's a deadset certified dump

Its a great ground to watch football at because you are so close to the action but the old place is so archaic . Not much they can do with the place apart from replacing the western Grand stand with a new modern one, the eastern side would have to remain as a hill with it backing on to the housing there, so apart from a new Western Grandstand there is not much scope for any improvements ( apart from the new toilets lol )

Adelaide Oval is considered World Class with a hill. Nothing wrong with that.
Maybe by people, who’ve never left Adelaide lol
not even close to world class, $500mill spent on 75% stands and a grass hill, hotch potch of roofing that covers only half the mix of stands does not make for world class lol. Check out optus, Mercedes, Tottenham, etc. they’re world class.

Adelaide oval is world class.

You are comparing it to rectangular venues apart from optus which looks an MCG wannabe. Adelaide oval is exactly that, an oval venue built for 2 sports played on ovals. It is perfect for that city.

I highly doubt the Penrith stadium build will go ahead. It does nothing for the economy and doesn't even really make sense as a stadium strategy thing. The economic recovery from covid is going to justify a lot of change of plans over the next 18 months.

Have you been to AO or any of those stadiums?

Optus and Tottenham are boring concrete slabs that look like 20 other stadiums in the world. No character. There is nothing unique or interesting about either of them. And yes I've been to both.

Wembley, Camp Nou, Parc des Princes, Sadio Olympico, Azteca, Maracana. Those are World Class Stadiums
