Not really pro the government spending that much on sports stadiums period and I think this one is especially bad as it will only be used 7 times a year.All's fair , in that case you'd be OK if the Feds put in $200m towards a new rectangular stadium in Adelaide or Perth.After all having modern rectangular stadiums would makes these interstate cities more liveable for people who moved from the east Coast,Europe,NZ and the Pacific Islands.
I have no problem with govt grants ,as long as they mean when it comes to sport diversity.
I have never been to Hobart so I can’t say what they lack. Surely an AFL team could play at the cricket ground and the 250m get spent on critical infrastructure in that city
