Don't think they'd release this unless it was in the advanced stages, like pretty much set in stone. Guessing they're putting out this to do a temperature check with the fanbase.

Great news for the NRL in general and for Souths fans, I think it will be a much better atmosphere and experience for them. Another team in a high quality rectangular stadium. The more teams that are, the more the clubs that aren't, stand out and it puts pressure on the government/club to find a solution. See Andrew Barr.
It certainly came from left field. The article reads to me like "we're moving, and here are the answers you want so you don't all bombard us with the same questions when it gets announced".

Blake solly should just admit he made. A mistake signing a new lease at Accor rather than trying to blame the govt for reneging on stadium upgrades (which he knew about and was ok with on a reduced rent)

Albanese getting involved helped get it over the line

Only have to look at not just how Roosters Crowds have increased by the variety of people attending the new ground has helped.

This is the kind of shit that will give the Bunnies Crowds a real boost.
