Future Signings

Hasler also wants Jono Wright back, does that worry you WebShark? Probably not, you will find a way to sook about that as well.

On future signins, Moga has knocked back the Raiders, he is waiting to see if the Roosters can secure Fergo before signing with us.

Fonua looks well on his way, but we will be moving slowly for a while in the player market.

Moga and Fonua potential signings sounds great to me. As does no contract renewal for Jono Wrong.

I might have missed something, but what's the reason for us moving slowly in the recruiting cb4? And by 'slowly' do you mean no signings for a while, or do you mean not many signings???

Tell the board a lot of fans are sick of mediocrity.
Hey genius. How about you run for the board, then when you are in, explain how you are going to sign player to our club, when $700k isnt enough?
I would have liked Roberts too. I spoke to him a few weeks ago. The Sharks is the last tema he would have signed for. Would hve gone to england before doing that.

The Raiders were desperate to sign Ennis. The Sharks had to offer BIG money to secure his services.

The raiders had to offer him big money.... They didnt offer BIG enough!

Feel sorry for them but no one wants to go to the nation's capital - strange really!

Wrong again.
Of course. Why would a person want to get the best deal possible? I'm sure Ennis instructed his manager to accept nothing more than minimum wage. All that talk about this being his last contract and him needing to look after himself and his family wasn't about getting a better deal.He decided to put the sharks interests before his own. Right.

700k not enough for who?

If a Sharks the last team Roberrts would sign for , we have massive problems. He played Touch at a Taren Point sometimes aged about 16/17. What is it about the Sharks that a Sydney kid would prefer a England to play?

Believe me, I would stand for the board if I had the answers. I don't so don't stand. Didn't stop Unity.

As reefy said, no one wants to play for the sharks. So they either offer overs or they target the dregs of the nrl, like Ayshford.

Five hundred thousand plus per season.

Maxy

I was hoping to get a realistic estimate about Ennis so I could use it as an example. Someone geeing you up. I would guess 400k tops. Not even our dumbarse club could throw 500k on a bloke winding down for retirement. Tonight he was no better than Morris. Anyone notice IDG went better for Parra than in months for us. Maybe his role was defined for him.

Sorry mate, but look at the situation. The sharks have lost their top 3 hookers for next year so they are desperate. There are no other top shelf no.9's on the market. The raiders threw massive dollars in Ennis's direction.

The evidence does not point to Ennis being a bargain signing.

When a player gets near the end of the career the money isn't what is important. He did not sign for 500K.

He is happy where he lives. It played a big part in his decision. His family meant more than the $$.

Believe me or not I don't care max.

Money is important for anyone with a young family, but since neither Ennis nor the club will be displaying the contract details publicly, you can believe as you please.
