Future Signings

I'll have Ben Cummins from the Wallabies thank you very much, he also plays for Southern Districts so it wouldn't be much of a change of scenery for him.

Cummins is the honey badger. Would be a Beau Ryan style signing. Big media profile.

Shame we missed Koroibete. We badly need try scorers and he would walk into our team. Not sure he makes the Storm top 13.

It was mentioned a fair while ago that we were looking at fusitua from the warriors, anyone know anything?
If we can jag him and Moga I will be absolutely stoked. Would be the best young and semi undiscovered centre/wing combo going around IMO. Grab some depth too and our backline looks sorted.

Agree. Both have speed and can find the tryline. Wouldn't that make a pleasant change.

It's Nick Cummins. Plays very few games for Southern Districts as he is contracted to Western Force in Perth. As a current Wallaby he would be out of pocket to downgrade and come here.

For me, the jury's out on the Ennis signing. This year has been his least effective for a while. Lost his origin spot last year. Clearly on the decline. Lichaa totally unproven but junior Origin hooker. Time will tell. All the uproar about Lichaa getting a big contract too. Can't imagine Ennis came for less than Lichaa. Hasler recruited Lichaa over Ennis which worries me.

Hasler also wants Jono Wright back, does that worry you WebShark? Probably not, you will find a way to sook about that as well.

On future signins, Moga has knocked back the Raiders, he is waiting to see if the Roosters can secure Fergo before signing with us.

Fonua looks well on his way, but we will be moving slowly for a while in the player market.

Just digressing here for one moment.

Curious to see how The Pomm is going overseas.

Has anyone heard anything?

Not that I want him back.... but just interested

No sooking if Jono goes. Party time. Don't tell me we are blocking Jono going?

Is it really sooking not being impressed with our recruitment? Sorry did we win a few comps I missed?

Moga now not a done deal? Suppose we better keep Jono for now. James Roberts would have been my preference.

We will be good in an Over 30s comp though.

Getting Ennis means we will be right into the niggle and boring as hell with no C9 games. But
I bow to the superior knowledge of the club who have done a great job. You will know? Has Flanno nearly served his sentence or can he get another infraction notice? Sponsorship?

CB are you Damian Keogh?

As for Fonua, pass. Barely gets a run with half the Storm backs injured. Started ok , but a nuffie.

So I will be sooking if our centres are Fonua and a bloke coming off 2 recos next year. I am in the clique on here who wants us to make a quantum leap forward not just a slight improvement. Tell the board a lot of fans are sick of mediocrity.

Moga has never been a done deal, nor have I said those words. I am confident we will sign him though.

At the moment, yes we are blocking Jono on a mid season release because we have an injury list that looks like a World War 2 casualty ward. He is off contract and won't be re-signed.

I won't be overly upset if our centres next year are Fonua and Moga, 2 young guys with a hapea of talent and potential, isn't that what you cry about hourly? You just had a swipe about being an over 30's comp yet snigger having 2 youngsters in the team. Also, Leutele will probably be ahead of Fonua.

As for our recruitment, you are only unhappy with 1 year of recruitment, because we couldn't offer the money to lure top line recruits due to a bumbling ASADA investigation that has cost us a lot of money.

Surely you can see that no club could ever budget losing 2 million dollars a year just like that.

Flanno is back in September, so you will have something else to make you toilet paper extra sandy as you give it a wipe in the morning.

I am not Keogh, nor do I have any affiliation with him. I once met him at a Basketball Australia corporate dinner, but that was the better part of 10 years ago.

I am sure if you want a message delivered to the club, you could try contacting them, I don't enjoy doing my dirty laundry, so I won't be doing it for a piss ant either.

I don't think he is DK but you sure sound like that merkin that calls big sports breakfast. Calls himself the Nark, I think

Not the Nark. Didn't realise Jono and a past it Ennis were the keys to our first premiership. Must be getting Fonua too I guess. That should seal it :)

The worst thing is I am beginning to think Reef has a point. As a club and fan base we put up with too much crap from the NRL, the Board etc.

Someone enlighten us. What are we paying Ennis? Plenty on here will claim to know?

Some fair points. I do like the Moga move myself. Not a fan of Fonua though. With Jennings out, perhaps Moga may get a first grade run.

No one here is prepared to elaborate on what we paid Ennis. Strange, Peachey and Lichaa we are told are plain greedy, so they can go. Recruit someone and it's all quiet. Until told otherwise, I am of the belief that Ennis cost more than Lichaa.

By the way, letting Jono go is a decent move.

CB, I take many of your points , especially regarding the budget. But it is not out of line saying it was self inflicted. Because it was.

It is not that odd for many to question why extend the guy who got us in the crap? Sharpy not interested. Poisoned chalice is my view. That's it from me. Looking forward to watching Ennis tonight. Still cant work out why the Dogs let their first grade captain walk.

I actually do miss the Pomm. He was a sharky through and through that bloke.

I reckon there is an easy option open to webby to avoid an obviously impending aneurism.

Follow a different team. I suggest the Roosters. Nothing to complain about then
