Well it's kind of disappointing that the Broncos aren't full strength because they'd certainly trouble the Storm.

However the poor blokes are exhausted.

LATE MAIL

Fourth qualifying final: Melbourne interchange forward Michael Crocker trained well yesterday after receiving a knock to the knee on Wednesday. He has been cleared, leaving coach Craig Bellamy with one player to leave off his bench. Brisbane fullback Justin Hodges did not train with his team-mates yesterday. Hodges has a quadriceps strain and swam, coaching staff concerned he might receive an accidental knock in the slippery conditions. He is not in doubt. The match marks Brisbane's 500th premiership game.

Normally i'd seriously question this kind of selection for a sudden death game. But seeing as it's Frawley being replaced, well...

Brisbane yesterday sprung a selection shock by naming untried Redcliffe wing Alwyn Simpson for his NRL debut, in Craig Frawley's place.

Kiwi international Greg Eastwood and rising star Joel Moon are also set to be dumped on the basis of their sub-standard performances in Brisbane's 68-22 loss to Parramatta last Sunday.
