I know it's been very hot, but I am not understanding why it was such a problem for the Aussies - it is usually hot there, and they play in many other hot places...

The events of day 1 were a bit weird imo

Mate I worked weds out in the heat and it was the hardest day I have put in years. The weather was truly terrible.

There is a perfectly good system that the rest of the world uses and one nation won't use it. It's not that the players don't trust it like the line the BCCI commentary drones keep trotting out.

The Indians love to pressure the umpires at home in India and with DRS they can't do it so it's not used. Utterly ridiculous situation and if they cop a bad decision they have to cop it on the chin instead of whinging like petulant children.

They interviewed Vijay the other day, he was with the hierarchy, basically saying human make errors and they are happy to go with what umpire gives. A journal suggested there is evidence that DRS would be better, but Vijay said "in your opinion" LOL

All I know if they oppose the DRS, standing around like tarts when given out comes across as a bit of a tool, BCCI and player included.

yeah im thinking 2016 sometime , going 2.5 years maybe a bit long a wait for the BCCI
