He looked good. Hopefully he'll partner up with Aku and be an amazing, explosive pairing. We all need something to look forward to this year.

Yes he is a different beast to Sau. However, let's not get too excited and believe that he is superman as the kryptonite this squad carries is sure to soon hang around Gagai's neck also.

Let's hope the headlines, in a years time, don't read "Gagai struggling in NSW Cup".

Well until we stop being a NASCAR team and learn to do more than go left, he will be too starved for ball to do much at all

Nice lol..

Yeah was disappointing he didn't get more clean early ball last night, Houston seem to have stole it all from him.

Maybe they're just easing him in though as well.

Houston is born to play in the middle. Why is the coach persisting with two of the most ineffective ball runners in the comp as our wide-running backrowers? It gives us zero punch on the fringes.

I had no real interest in the game so it was an opportunity to focus on Gagai's performance. Promising signs...... might be a slight question in his defence when the going gets tougher, but with the ball in his hands, he was very slippery.

Agree........could've done with a lot more ball going to Gagai's side. As the senior half, Mullens game play still disappoints.

Looked great in attack. Pretty ordinary in defence.

But the space he created, the footwork he used outs him ahead of Sau already.

You guys should go and take a look at the youtube video of him playing qld cup. Certainly a lot of talent.

He played fullback in the toyota cup so he has never had to defend in the front line yet alone the centres. So it's going to take some time for him to get used to defending in the hardest position on the field.
Defense can be taught but natural attacking flair cant...

I think next year, if he can add 5kg to his frame in the off season, he's gonna be lethal.

He's only 21 so he has plenty of time to grow and put on the weight. He already put on 8 kilos during last offseason..

He has spent plenty of time at centre in the Qld cup mate. His defence needs work but over all he wasn't half bad and will only improve if he is given more time in FG.

Christ we need something right now

I don't know what your definition of plenty of time is.. but he has played about 5 games as a centre in QLD Cup.

5 is plenty given his time in the Qld Cup has spanned about 10 games. He has also played wing and 5/8 so defending in the front line isnt an issue

How good is he at pressuring opposition players when we put up a bomb? His effort for our first try was just amazing. Grabbed the ball in the air and spun as he hit the ground and got the ball away as well.

Thanks for the Gay Time~
