Mate, I'm well aware of that. My brother-in-law is a lifelong Tigers man and back in the 90s I used to go to Magpies games with a bunch of fanatical Western Suburbs fans. I used to stand out though as they all had their black,n,white Maggies jerseys on and I was there in my Cardinal and Myrtle. Plus, at 6'6" I was the tallest one in our group.

So what was Moses trying to acheive arming himself with this list of grievences???

To get Marshall sacked??

Simple, Moses is trying to get him a release so he can join a new club for season 2026. How many people who are siding with the Tigers management on this have suggested cutting him loose asap? Quite a few. I can see their point, but if the Tigers do that, it just gives Moses and Galvin what they want.

Richo is all over that, which is why hes demanding a better player and/or cash as his penalty.

Otherwise hes happy to keep him in cup.

Theres some press conference happening tommorrow where we will set the record straight.

It will be utter carnage for Galvin and IM.

The Tigers should stand firm on Galvin and make him play NSW cup for 2 years just to give Gould the middle finger

That will cost us about $500k!

This will die down in a few weeks.

I think the major mischief was IM not being prepared to consider a pretty good offer ( 2.5 times factory).

Galvo wanted out x 3 last year and IM waa probably keen to make his client happy with him by being cool.

But he underestimated the ferocity of the counter attack by the club and the players followed suit.

Benji has certainly been at pains to blue sky and cuddle them, so they are responding.

Some of the collateral benefits of the matter appear to be a groundswell of support from the players, JL might not be so willing to exercise his options.

Galvin is still a potential player a bit like Moylan and that got out of control.

Whether it's Gould or the Slimes, it seems perfectly cromulent to make them wait.

It would have to be a bucket of cash cos the Slimes don't have anyone worth a pinch of shit to get in return, other than maybe Jack Williams.

Ivans comments were interesting, for him the issues of over hyped youngsters demanding more cash is a well worn path.

He knows every crack along this long and tortuous footpath.

As does @Kilkenny and @The Realist.

Id love to know how hes threaded the needle for so long against an armada of greed and avarice!

Im expecting them to pick up this season, not smugly, but the word is that they are training the house down.

Bula as we know is also managed by Moses. I think we all know that Moses will do a bit of payback through Bula down the line. Richo needs to have a chat with Bula along the ilk that Politis had with Tedesco.

Good point.

The shot-callers in the player group have made a stance.

Whats good about them is their game status. Jerome and Api are huge all over the game. Master of their craft and very cool and likeable customers.

They have personal followings as well as club ones.

And they cant quite hide their intelligence. Very switched on young men.

I dont mind their fullback. I think hes got a lot of potential.

He has a bit of the modern day Tiger in his game when hes on.

Could be a useful utility back.

Watching this I can really understand the concerns of young Galvin...his "manager" and parents about learning the No
6 trade from his novice coach...

Bula is as good as gone. Once his contract is finished he's out of here.

However, we are in the box seat here. As bula signed his current deal under his previous manager, the grub who shall not be named doesn't get paid until a new deal is signed. So it's in his best interests to re-negotiate asap. I'd tell him to come back once the contract is over then we'll talk. That's if we feel like offering a contract.

What's good for the goose......

Bula can always change managers.

I think this is why and how it's happening, nothing that hasn't been said here, but the press are finally waking up, that a couple of SM posts are not the real problem, it's LG's manager.

I'd also think the (other) players, their managers would know what's going on and probably told their clients, hence the SM posts.

Could do, but considering he's changed not long ago I doubt it. The grub is very good at getting Max $$ for the players
I don't think Bula is that type of bloke, I understand that his option is quite generous ($900k) I believe, which the current manager wouldn't get anything from.
But yes he can change if he wanted to, there's nothing stopping him, those negotiations are a long way off.
He can also say no, if he wants, he is in charge of the manager, not the other way round.

It's really strange to have the Fox guys supporting the club on this, I don't watch them and normally roll my eyes, when I hear Tallis speak, but he's made some great points here.
