Our middle is a hell of a lot more solid now we have McInnes, Williams and Hazelton playing a ton more minutes. All 3 have been the difference.
Just need our 3 fat bastards to get up to speed.

Also Toby and Hunt starting together. Both were gassed and Toby had a bad penalty before his spell ended but it goes back to our strategy of a bunch of solid guys to get the job done.

Even Hunt looked good in his limited role compared to the last few games he played.

Well nice way to breathe a bit of life into the season. If we somehow manage to handle the tits next week and the Storm get done by the Raiders we’d move back into the top 4. Who’d have thought. Sets up some cracking games against Newie, Cows and Raiders in the last few weeks.

Just watched on delay
Good win I have always said that Hiroti is all class lol he did well though.
Jack Williams has really been going well lately bar that penalty.
Hynes with less ball played better.
Rudolf every week always a penalty before subbed.
We have to make win count and beat the Titans next week
Love to see Colquhoun be in 17 over Rudolph

We followed the Panthers blueprint of turning the ball back inside regularly to tire out the their middles, worked a treat.
Nice way to maybe turn around our season - though we still played some dumb rugby in that last quarter to invite them into the game: we just needed to complete some sets and turn the ball over in their 20, but we went for a couple of hero plays and a couple of silly dropped balls.
But overall, a follow on from our effort last week - they busted their balls again, and got the rewards.

What was the point of putting Moylan on the bench an extra forward would've been more helpful
Cover for backs. If a winger/centre went down Tracey could go there and nicho FB. If Tracey went down same thing. The Sifa/Raimen thing last week was a lesson.

Typically one of our bench barely plays anyway.

Agree, right call given the lack of versatility in our other starters and bench players. If Tieg and Ronnie play, there’s enough versatility to move people around in-game.
With the back line we had and a bench of Hunt/Hazo/Williams/JC, and Wade/Brit/McInnes as back row, there’s only really Nikora to centre as an option, leaves us cooked if a winger, fullback, or halfback go down.

Not pushing passes was nice to see. They kept it pretty simple, the lads stepping up from the jets all played well. Only player that i could criticise would be rudolf giving away a few stupid penalties and dropping the ball.
This was my take - pretty simple game plan, they even looked a bit boring at times, which was fantastic.
Just get the simple stuff right.
Whole hearted performance from a mixed team only Nulla Jets.
The Mrs (total NRL nuffie) even asked me who these players were.
Similar to others, Rudolph either needs to go to the bench or back to the Jets.
dead set liability
