I've only had a chance to watch the game as I was busy on the road whilst the game was on.
It's hard to get too excited about the game. The Bulldogs were deplorable - no NRL team should be conceding the tries in the middle of the field that they were. Even those awful 98/99 Magpies teams weren't that pathetic in the middle of the field. It's a true testament to the League 'Genius' that is their General Manager of Football.
The Sharks did what the Sharks do - They beat a team they were expected to beat and could have put more on, but didn't. Lots of play where a decent team would have punished the Sharks. Hopefully it's a bit of a confidence boost to the players, but not too much of one where they think everything is great.
Expectations for this team are higher than they were last year, so a good win over one of the worst teams in the league isn't really going to do much for confidence in this team.
