No issue with the sin binning.

But with the semi try off the kick, the ref referred it the video ref , the ref mentioned a player was pushed , was that a reference to a eels player being pushed ?

No it was in reference to Gordon pushing the Cowboys player who challenged semi for the ball. There was nothing in it and the video ref thought as much.

And yep, the sin binning was 100% correct

We got ahead in the game and threw it away, that's the biggest disappointment. Terrible handling and bone headed plays. Taka lets things get personal and Norman is guilty of it as well, cost us big tonight.

How many accounts on here are ran by the bunker?

Yep, we still have that dumb element in our game

The Panthers scored 2 soft tries in the last 8 minutes to beat us at home. Tonight we let 3 tries in at the end. Championship teams just don't do that.

I don't think we'll ever win any game let alone all but to be 16-0 with 15 mins to go and then lose 32-16, that was poor.

Not to mention 2 of our 3 tries were from our own half, otherwise we were pretty ordinary in attack. We also drop way too much ball.

Sure they put in more effort than they have in previous years but to compete against a team that is in form like the Cowboys are right now is probably a year away.

True but the form team this time last year was the Roosters. Anything can happen in the finals.

We aren't that far away.

No issue at all the with the sin Binning, about the only call I didn't have a problem with.

How did they miss the pass for the last try??? Ffs it was two miles forward???

I love how every close decision isn't even replayed, is that a directive from the NRL???? Same thing happened last week. In the end dumb mistakes and some soft tries lost us the game. But the refs were so one sided it isn't funny.

Mate. We just gave the defending premiers a run, at their home ground. Yes, the result sucked, but the effort was there. After 14-0, we would of lost 42-6 in previous years. Great spirit and comeback.

Let's not forget the temperature. Pretty sure I heard them mention it was 30 degrees.

Are you serious? Challenge the good teams? Played Broncos with no halves, beat the Cowboys, beat the Dogs, and had the score blow out tonight due to atrocious ball control and a bullshit sinbinning. I'm glad the team isn't as mentally weak as you.

Bulldogs have been up and down this year, I don't think they are good. We lost to the Broncos.

I'm happy with our year so far, we've won 5 games, I think we only won that many in total under Stuart didn't we?

Doesn't mean I can't be concerned with important aspects of our game. Ball control and attack has been relatively poor this year and like tonight has proven our defence only needs to be a little off and we get spanked.

I dare say Roosters would have been hard to beat had JWH and Pearce not got injured.

The only way I can see either the Cowboys or the Broncos not winning the comp is if their is some major injuries to key players.

We beat Cowboys at home, and they beat us at their home - the better team won on both occasions.

The defence at the end to let the score blow out was disappointing and Arthur will not be happy with that. The Penrith loss was more worrying, because we had that game in the bag where this one was still very much in the balance.

But we weren't disgraced tonight, and to fight back from 0-14 at halftime to take a 16-14 lead shows a lot of heart and there's plenty there this season to be positive about.

I'm cooling on Jnr as well. He's fantastic at making meters, but his play the ball is slow and his defence isn't much better.

Some people on here know the rules of the game

Others on here just wish Sandow was in our team with Hagan at the helm

Applying the rules when they feel like it you idiot

Even the commentators said "the precedent has been set tonight"

Where has it been all season? Or am I just imagining all the debated penalty tries that had no sin binning this year. I think you need to watch more games

You are truly a troll

Good effort. Hard to win in Townsville against a red hot Cowboys especially when you make so many mistakes. It's 1-1 against the defending premiers though. Not many teams will have that record.

Let's deal with some reality here for a moment. Firstly, I thought the Eels would come back in the second half ( as they did), but they succumbed to a well disciplined, reigning premiers team on their home ground. That is, a ground the Eels don't have a great record at. Secondly, the Eels were loose in possession when returning the ball after a try. We scored a couple of fortunate tries during the game as well. That 'disallowed' try in the first half should have inspired the team to be more resolute and show more resolve. In the end, we beat ourselves without help from refs and the like.
