No but the last 15 minutes was terrible! That Morgan try was the epitome of what I am talking about.

Moeroa was marking him instead of Norman. Morgan is too quick to give that kind of space. An inexperienced, tired forward should be forgiven for missing a tackle most seasoned veterans would also probably have missed.

Korny, no one likes to lose, but 14 points of the score was put on the team while a man down, very difficult against a mid table tam, impossible against a good team, in difficult conditions with the refs favouring them in 50/50 decisions

The combinations are getting better and not happy we lost, but very pleased with how the team is going this far in the season, we have played top 8 teams apart from Manly ( inc the Cowgilrs twice)

Good point with letting 14 points in with only 12 men on the field.

Are you questioning whether I go to the gym? You are one weird mofo...

You seem like you have slayed more dragons in azeroth than are nuanced in how a sport is played is the takeaway. This is derived from your holier-than-thou style of posting, claiming intellectual superiority on an inane concept like sin binning. Your interpretation of the season thus far is wrong and you should feel bad and go and lift some weights sweetheart since that is what makes you feel guilty.

Another point remember, the Cowboys are currently injury free. We currently have two top 13 forwards out (mannah / Watmough).

That's the thing though. The Dogs aren't that good, but none of the teams apart from Cowboys and Broncs are really impressing so far. We are potentially a top four side (points penalty aside).

We have a lot of improvement and we showed a lot of character to come back from that halftime deficit. Ball control was awful but we still pushed the premiers.

Also got to wonder how much having the toughest run out of any team has affected us.

To be honest, until this salary cap stuff is sorted I'm not even that interested in our games.

We've had the toughest teams drawn but at the same time we have only just left Sydney for the first time this round.

Make no mistake, the sky is not falling in my eyes. We are a much better team this year, I just believe we let ourselves down tonight considering we got ourselves back into the game.

Ha! We got beat and in the end, deservedly so. It wasn't about the desire or ability to win, it was about the execution.

Good point with letting 14 points in with only 12 men on the field.

And last week when Melbourne had 12 men they didn't let the Tigers touch the ball. That is what the really good teams do rather than give away penalties and drop the ball.

He wasnt just tired, he made a bad decision and stopped for the runner instead of staying with morgan

Asiata didn't play for them either. Mannah for Alvaro makes some difference, not sure if replacing Terepo with Watmough helps us that much.

Yep. He def needed to stay with Morgan. I think having Mau there would have been the better option - a bit better laterally

I agree, the better side won. And if you look at my posts you will see me say the same thing, our completion was terrible and cost us the game.

Just trying to make the point we are going pretty good overall at this point in the year considering we do have some decent amount of cap space on the sideline.

We could argue all day whether adding Watmough would make a difference ( my opinion is he would make a huge difference). So let's just say we have probably have $800k (mannah $400 / Watmough $500k) of cap space spent on forwards on the sideline. Asiata is probably on bugger all.

I agree with your reasoning but not your maths.
