We've been close to scoring a heap of times.

Undefeated streak is done. Reset. Reload and get back to what we were doing better earlier on.

Shows how much ennis brings to the team...we have been playing shit for weeks and it was alwsys gunna be an issue against a decent side..shows where we are really at

Our attack is shit because we're trying to go around sides without having earned the right by making the hard yards up the middle. That means they can shoot up on the edges and cut us down without much difficulty.

Agreed think the biggest factor was they totally controlled the ruck and we were pretty much devoid of second phase play - very flat perfomance will be interesting to see how we turn up next week. Very concerned we lack some size compared to storm, cowboys, raiders for the finals.

Will only know the depth of this result after we see how the storm deal with the raiders next week

We got a month to get it right. We'll beat St George and Bunnies. Probably the Roosters aND then we play the Storm. That when we'll know where we're at.

It's been a while since we had a complete performance. Looking for a big bounce back against the Stains.

That was a ragged performance. Missed tackles and defensively away from the game plan. Poor marker defence, arm grabs on Rapana, took Austin's dummy. Those things don't happen when they are on. Line speed was good early but poor misses killed the momentum.

In attack passing was not crisp, execution poor. Lacked support runners in the middle. That is an indicator of energy and effort. Clearly missed Ennis organisation.

Oh my god....I am a doomsdayer but robo you take the cake. We were crap. They we good. That is generally it.
I can think of more excuses for the team than ever before. Short term around, loss of players, winning fatigue and the like. Only thing that matters now is the finals.
I said before they didn't look over fazed by tonight, almost expecting it.
Should be interesting next month or so, enjoy it

.

That was the key imo. You need to be especially sharp around marker when versing the Raiders. We weren't and Hodgson ran riot.

Yep marker grab and missed tackles. Simple against a team that offloads.
They were strong in the ruck but when we made good contact we held our own in that area. Problem was, our first contact wasn't consistently good enough.

If I could pick 1 of the top 6 teams to play in week 1 of the finals it would be the raiders. I hope the loss tonight ensures we finish 2nd and them 3rd. Sure we were outplayed but nothing went our wait tonight. They were allowed to lay all over us with 3 in every tackle and niggle around the head, somehow they got away with it. We are a better team then what they are!

We can bounce back but going forward

1. Nu Brown is not a dummy half, he is a running player
2. Beale's form has slumped recently, Leutele might be better option
3. CT's form starting to struggle last year at Warriors he was bad backend of season as well
4. Last two games and lets if Dragons try it on as well the niggle, trying to get under our skin.

Positives

Flannon/Ennis/Gallen/Maloney - Brains trust know what they are doing
All streaks now over concentrate on just winning again and peaking for finals
Barba each time he touches ball defence worries
Time 4 games to finals we will finish top 2 and be ready to win it all

This is our year

Agree on all bar the last line. Barba is the goods.

Maloney has been well down since origin. He will bounce back but he needs to.

Lacking another big body to make yards.

Most of the stuff that didn't go our way was our own fault. Poor timing, bad passes, wasted kicks. Add to that how spot on their defense was and we were gonna struggle.

Ennis was missed, big time.

The Tits had us worked out last Monday Night and the Rickys did the same trick tonight. They were up and in our faces all game. .... .... and niggling ... ... annnnnd getting away with it.

There is a match plan against us that will be copied.

Our blokes looked tired and the D line was motionless too many times tonight.

A lot of good might come out of that defeat.

Whose playing crook that is the big question. I will put Taga in the injured lot and what about Gal missing the last 20 or so minutes. What's wrong with him I wonder.

Hope it all gets sorted before September anyway.

Ohhh yeah and those bunker decisions ...ferkkk me. Was it last week when Benny lifted his elbow as he was being driven forward over the line in that disallowed double movement try?

Sheeeeze it would be noice if some of the 50/50 decisions would go our way for a time.

I was more dissapointed by the crowd not making enough noise than I was by the performance of the team.
