Tooks could be our new Tagatese, dosent have to be big minutes.
But destructive minutes.
He runs hard, what I want to see from him, is use that size to cut a halfback in half

Havnt read anybody else's posts (but I will) and also could not hear a thing watching it at the local so I may be well off. but I like how patient we looked. Very well composed and happy to defend until the opportunity presented itself.
Not the prettiest game to watch for 60 odd minutes, but a win is what we wanted and what we achieved.
I watched much of it on mute due to Blocker’s Bulldogs bias…

I mentioned before the game this debut is a big game for Tooks.
Already I have him in front of Hunt, and also he is just 22, Hunt is 28, there is so much upside.

Calm down, Stakey. He’s played 11 minutes of first grade.
He looks good, no doubt, but let’s revisit this towards the end of the year.

At what point did Reed Mahoney turn into a little bitch?
Or did I just not notice when he was playing alongside Mitchell Moses?
I like Mahoney.

I think it might be a case of Reed being a tad frustrated with those around him being useless bastards. He put up with it all last year and it looks very munch like he has the same in front of him this season.

I love watching the niggle in our saccharine sweet new age game. Just a shame that the fisticuffs is now a thing of the past.

If I spent my entire career playing for parra and this Canterbury team, I’d be pretty pissed off too

What do we play instead? Some new age shit no doubt?

yep, couldn’t even tell you what it was, but kickstart my heart has sort of become a bit of a sharks tradition.. my 6 year old couldn’t believe it when they didn’t run out to it

We should be comparing him to Hunt, see who has most upside, question will be does Tooks has same motor as Hunt

Well apparently Dogs was robbed with most of the calls going our way.
Pfffft
Ciraldo is under pressure now.
He is now going after the refs, the ref in way of Trindall correct call, Roach has no idea of the rules it doesn't matter what the size of the player, what would have happened had Trindall stripped ball off Kikau he was not allowed to do so.

Best game from Nicho to date. High up there with the type of game elite players play. He's also a natural leader, will be future (c) for a long time at this club. Teig and Ramien both ball tearing games that stood out amongst other great performances. Also Finucane, apart from that tap down, he was a monster in D.

.
Tuks has a real physical presence.
Yeah he's about double the size of anyone else.

When BHU is back, Herb and Toby can fight for a spot in the side imo.
