I'm upset with the game because we didn't play near our potential and reverted to some dumb play. We looked clunky and uncoordinated. Here a few issues/thoughts I had:
- Gal is no longer an 80 minute player. He needs a break. He's getting tired, slow, and then starts trying to do too much.
- awful use of bench the week before finals. Why have a player on the bench who doesn't see the field?
- refereeing was shite - but we keep getting dominated in the play the ball. It will happen again, and it makes attacking almost impossible.
- we need to see what has success and push it - Graham should have been given more ball and worked to put him one on one with DCE.

Very fair summation. I would add that Beale needed more ball as well. He owned Matai all day but nowhere enough opportunities with the ball.

I don't think I can recall a Sharks team with a worse kicking game. It's absolutely pedestrian. Maloney can't get here soon enough.

I work with a mad punter who is also a shark supporter.

He has a very good theory and has cleaned up on the sharks this year. Whenever we start as favourites he backs the other team and vice versa.

Lets just say he has come out on top more than 70% of the time this year with that simple golden rule

Bit of a pathetic attitude here. Wooden spoon last year up to 6th. Sure could've played a bit smarter but a few bounces the wrong way & 2 disgraceful ref calls cost us a top 4 spot. I'm not writing us off just yet. No wonder Quigs quit this joint.....it fuggen toxic.

The problem is we were not dominated or out muscled. We had the lion share of possession, we made 130 less tackles. We played dumb and they played smart. So Yes we were out played as they made their chances count.

Once again we were an intercept pass away from winning. Really we must hold the record for losing the most games at the death by an intercept or bad pass.

I do agree with you though, we squandered numerous opportunities and should have put it to bed in the first half.

That missed try where two of them went for it and just needed to ground it was the killer.
Timing was off on their passing all game.
