That missed try where two of them went for it and just needed to ground it was the killer.
Timing was off on their passing all game.
Not overturning Ennis' try.
I don't think it touched the grass. Fair call imo.

Valentine Holmes - 16 touches - 7 in the second half
Jack Bird - 39 touches - 16 in the second half
Jeff Robson - 52 touches - 22 in the second half
Wade Graham - 25 touches - 10 in the second half
Paul Gallen - 37 touches - 21 in the second half.
Gallen starved all the skilled players of the ball in the second half. He touched the ball just once less than the halfback in the second half and just 2 times less than the five-eighth for the entire game.

hmm
it looks like our 'skilled players' ie halves, got plenty of ball
gallen did not play well and did get in the way on occasion but this place is completely having itself on blaming him for the loss
interestingly 242 meters for gallen and 70 for bird
I agree, but then they went back to the other angle after 1 or 2 views and decided no try, bizarre. Commentator was claiming what looked like the ball on the ground was a Manly players foot!Watching the replay I thought it touched the grass (seen in the side view), so was surprised the video ref didn't overrule the on-field gimp.

The first half was more controlled and the attack looked much more threatening with an even spread of the ball across the field. The second half saw a distinct change from the style used in the first half, and it was detrimental to play.
As i said in an earlier post, Ennis has been choosing when to get the ball to Gal and when to ignore his calls, but yesterday Ennis just fed the ball to Gallen seemingly every time he called for it, especially in the second half
