I feel they are preparing him to be the back up FB mate. With Ison an unknown on when he'll be back they need someone to be ready for that position by playing for the Jets there.
Makes sense.
Funny with Kennedy, he is belted on here and the talk of throwing out with the bathwater has been a common thing for years, and here we are. Dykes and now Ison appear to be the Clayton’s of the era

Wow how did we ever win that. Honestly all I could think of, sorry laugh at was the expectant mistakes and dumb shit errors that our mob made and we still got the chocolates.

How many times did I think here we go this is going to be cronullafication biggly.

Anyhow old mate and I got a lot of belly laughs - it was fun.

How was it when Jessie made that long break intercept thingy. I was thinking if it was the Pennies, Storm or any other top shelf side they would immediately have a deep backline set just ready to ping it wide and have the winger go in untouched in the opposite corner.

Our mob, Jessie gets tackled plays the ball the dummy half looks around and see nuffin', no one,. Stops and thinks, what the furhuck do I do now. Just scrurries off on an angled run.

Little plays like that, that is 'our' boys. Just got to love it.

Oz I reckon you could of knocked over two simultaneously consider you have two.

That would have to be a new one for the Fox Sports record mob.

Happy days.
Take a win.
Ricky hates us.
More and more -as time goes on.

Thought we were never going to lose it.
Fun game to watch.
Both teams having a crack (as coach would say)
Plenty of tries
Plenty of breaks
Plenty of points
Plenty of missed tackles
Plenty of errors

Bit of a ground hog day foe both teams.
Neither doing much different from last year.
Certainly nobody from our side any better or doing anything different.
Certainly some blokes not playing to potential (hello Ramien and AFB and a couple of others)

So, an enjoyable 2 hours.
Up Up!

The main takeaway:
Whilst those 2 teams continue to serve up the above, there is a side who turns up and takes it all a bit more serious.

Both those sides today would struggle to score more than 1 try against a Penrith. If that.
The dropped ball.
The mistakes.
The stupid passes.
The running west, then back east, then back west.

A bloke like Tom Jenkins just out NSW cup looks like he could play SOO this year.
A bloke like Ramien with over 150 first grade games turns up after nearly 5 months of preseason and serves up this shit on a weekly basis?

I dont know.

Just give Penrith the trophy now.

But a wins a win.
Happy days.
Onwards and upwards.

Just going to point a couple of little things with Hynes.
We won by 12 points.
Hynes deliberately ran at Horsborough and achieved his goal, got Red sin binned. Sharks score 12 points when he's off.
If Brailey did that people would be all over the "cleverness"
The last play where he put that innocuous left foot grubber kick in, he followed it through, Raiders had been spilling the ball all game, they did it again and he was there to clean it up and pass to JC to score the sealer.
Some on here may not see that stuff as important, but the coaches do.
Don't get me wrong, the Sharks are way better with Trindall in the main role, just don't discount these few little things, along with the assist to Burns, they turned out to be crucial in the game overall.

Some good stats from the game:
All the backs made over 100m bar Trindall who made 70m.
AFB back to his 220m and 83 PCM.
Next best forward was Wilton with 107m.

Team stats were very even, can't be bothered typing them all out.

Sorry that game I just laughed and I laughed. You know the laugh you get when you know that something horrific is about to unfold and surround you. Apparently there is a medical term for the emotional laughter.

And the priceless look on Noodles face as he stares straight at the ref when he knows he is lying over the tackled player just maybe a few minutes too long. Yeah that look, it is straight out of one of those very dorky yank sitcoms. The cute kid staring down the camera.

Gawd I love following the Sharkies.

(Oh well, back to bed again)

He has improved immensely. I didn't think he had it in him, but he's proven me very wrong.
The club may be willing to let TTF go to keep him, mainly because of age not ability. TTF is also going great.
Yep, I’ve been one of ‘Shitstreets’ biggest knockers, but he’s doing his job well. He’s still way behind Katoa and Ronnie, but I’d understand the rationale of letting Katoa go if SS is lots cheaper.

I was shouting at my sceeen ‘get off him you dumb f*#king nobhead’ because it was obvious for about 5 seconds that shit for brains was going to give that 6-again away.

And literally just as he was getting tackled before that shitty knock on, I actually said to my young bloke ‘Always worry’s me when Ramien gets the ball in games like this - this is the sort of situation where he’ll make a stupid mistake’, my lad was like ‘how did you know he was gonna do that’….

Yes 'our' noodles and his tackling technique. Old mate and I call it the Fafita flop with additional lay time.

I too was yelling at the screen telling him to get bloody up as it was critical 'six again' time and yeah, guess what, it happened

We really need a big angry boss man on the field telling players off and where to be on the paddock. Stop all the high fives and pats on heads when they stuff up and give them loud serves in front of the squad. Not rewarding the dud actions.

Did you all see the time during the game when I think it was just after we had hit the 12 point lead and we were returning a kick play. They were all just standing in a cluster and one bloke shuffled sideways, gave it to another bloke and he shuffled back sideways then the next bloke went back again and all the while the rest of them stood around just scratching their bums. One idjet decided to wandered into the line of fire so the fool throws a bullet pass that hits him on the shoulder when he wasn't even looking resulting in the bloody ball bouncing about 20 metres into no mans land.

At the time Vossy commented that this was Under 10s stuff.

Me, it was here we go time.
