I've told this on here a few times, I will repeat it one last time.
Nicho has been signed as a franchise player. He brings in corporate sponsorship.
He's on everything involved with the club, the sponsors love it.
As a small club the club as a whole has to wear it. Nothing to do with the salary cap.
It was too long a deal.
Hynes winning the Dally M made the board panic.
I'm old school. I got slapped over the head when i f**ked up, when I was young.
If I was in control I'd be giving Nicho three slaps, maybe four, and telling him to harden up.

Well that goes back to the old chestnut I reckon everyone who has played at any level was taught. The harder you go the less chance you have to get injured.

the team played when we won the comp the team communicated with each other, there is no communication at all on the field what plays to run…we have a multi million dollar player doing f**k all.

Was I the only one that secretly enjoyed watching Ronnie cop it back from Munster etc today?

Whilst the score stayed close, we were never really in that game. Again, we lost the contact in both attack and defence. Storm, Warriors, Panthers and Dogs all have this defensive style where they take the attackers legs/hips to the ground, but hold up the attackers upper body for a few seconds to slow the tackle further and turn/drag them back towards their own line. It works against most teams, but especially against us - the only way to combat this is to run hard and fast, but to have support/dummy runners so that it isn’t obvious which players is taking the hit up - our big issue is we do 1 out, easy to read hit ups - so we get gang tackles and dominated.
Then we’ve got Nicho, who is really shit.
And Tricky, who’s gone backwards at an alarming rate.
And Ramien, who’s gone backwards at an alarming rate.
And Nikora, who’s gone backwards at an alarming rate.
And McInnes, who’s never been amazing, but has still gone backwards at an alarming rate.

Who’s responsible for all of the above?

Just jumped on fb. Got a reminder about my grandfather who passed away today. He raised me and was basically my dad. In my head and life I just don't remember the date. The last game we went to together was probably 2017. I have a selfie there of us in Sharks jerseys(he was a bears man but jumped onto the Sharks for me) but can't bring myself to look it up. He cemented my love of this game.

A crazy reminder in a good way like our good friend Mr Angry that this club and game will keep going. Need some wins and some joy though.
