Game Day vs. the Gold Coast Titans

I'm surprised no one slipped this into the thread, in honour of Mr Proctor. A pretty evenly poised game until his brain explosion.

Take the 2 points and move on. Heavy legged, sluggish performance but the conditions from last week seemed to have an impact. Parra certainly looked flat.

Defence still needs lots of work. Concentration wavers too much. Can still score points.

Penny's will get beat at some point. May as well be the Sharks that do it.

Ok win against 12 players and one benchie..felt for the Titans, bit of a handicap match after Arrow and other bloke went off then the biter. They should never have gotten as close as they did. But yeah, move on and aim up for Penrith...Parra was a successful test against a top four side, need to push Penrith to truly belong in the top 8 of this bunk ass season

Not sure why Ronnie and Katoa stayed right and left wing as last week. Ronnie seems calmer outside Dugan. Katoa tended to rush in and miss following Ramien. The go to play is double cut out to winger (sometime rainbow ball) instead of hitting the fullback on the sweep. Smart wingers like Johnston from Souths see intercept opportunities as the read the ball players. Our wingers tend to charge at the fullback.

I think Big Sexy does at well. Makes a big difference having 250 games next to you.

The other side has Ramien inside who is still pretty green in defence and perhaps not much use in schooling his winger. He has just passed 50 games though and the penny needs to start dropping soon.

The side also needs Mythlan at fullback. Not sure how much voice Bubba has or if his abacus is functional

The Panthers are beatable this comp is weak as, they are an average team leading an average comp.

When a coach has to pick his son, it reminds of Ando picking his son here.

Cleary is a myth has never stood up in a crunch game

Wado is getting back to his best kicking, tackling and running the ball. My only critic, he should have told SJ to take the shot at goal from that penalty. Remember we get the ball back! Keep the pressure on and bank 2.

Except for the fact he’s only 22 and he’s played halfback in a couple of successful State of Origin campaigns already.

How do you come to this conclusion

Can I help him? He won't know. LOL

They do have a bit of bluff about them. 14 rounds they have played Roosters (W), Storm (W) and Eels (L) so far. They only play one more top 4 team - Eels.

9 in a row started with Storm win and the others have been non contenders IMO

Flat track bullies.

Cleary is off as well. His game management last game was atrocious. Would not take a FG. They got lucky against the Warriors

Reminds me of 2016 when we went into a lull just before semis.

They are going into a lull

We'll beat them next week
