That’s a shattering loss and I really fear that it may have taken all the confidence out of the team. I think it could have massive ramifications on the game next week at Leichhardt. Tigers are in decent form.

I watched the game with my daughter, i said at half time we needed 7 more points get to 19 we win.

Flanagan when he was lining kicks up not one looked likely off the boot, he i believe kicks them to high, need to be flatter.

Flanagan's dumb pass in extra time never on, smart play kick it downfield.

Missed Dugan big time in 2nd half, Ronaldo gets better each week

The break Croker made from own in goal, our kick chase was shambles it was always on when he picked the ball up

Bukuya added nothing again.

Townsend again takes wrong choices, yes 2 field goals but he goes missing.

Nikora needs Johnson without him he seems to get less ball

We started on fire played great first half defense was going great, but we started 2nd half like it was lets just go through motions, we let them roll up field, and thats what they did, we tried to switch on with 15 to go, but damage was done, there seems to be a few players out there who believe they just need to turn up to win.

Next week if Tigers win today i see us getting carved up, we will have big let down after this, they will be pumped to the max, the only thing Tigers could do wrong is to play Robbie if he is basically going to be carried

You can't be too disappointed

Take dopey and carntz Nichol clockstad out before the game and Croker at half time and they struggle too.

No sj meant no backseat for Chad and he's not up to running the show.

2 pretty big calls seemed to go against us which both led to tries.

The penalty against Graham. They scored off the next set.

Croker running behind the back of his own player in his own in goal. They score of the next play. If he scores and they go to the video I reckon it’s a penalty to us.

Bullshit. Haven’t felt this disappointed for a long time. Poor gal

I’m sorry but this team won’t be doing anything until it makes some ballsy decisions with team selections. No player should keep on getting selected as a default because they were in a Grand Final winning team or because they are a household name.

It’s why the Melbourne Storm are always high performers and at the pointy end of the ladder year on year. If a players form drops they get dropped no matter who it is. Here is a team Minor Premiers and they drop Brodie Croft because they think they can be better with Papenhuyzen & Hughes. If we were in the same position we would keep Croft because he’s been in the team most of the year.

I just watched Chad Townsend put in one of his most shit kicking games and all round performances in awhile on a Club legends special day. Don’t give me he kicked two field goals bull shyte that’s what a half should do it’s nothing special. The fact is we were in that shyte position because of his play and that upstart Flanno Junior who is a Townsend clone of mediocrity. When a game is on the line these two weak merkins have got nothing.

Until some tough decisions are made at the Club on personnel and standards required we will never emulate the class of 2016 which was led by Maloney, Lewis, Graham, Gallen,Ennis & Barba on being winners and focused on the job for the whole 80minutes.

What will it take for the Club to realise this?

Losing to the Tigers next week and failing to make the Semi’s with a roster capable of finishing top 4?

Might be the best thing for the Club to go forward.

Shocked into taking action.

Because falling into the finals will be actually papering over the cracks of the real problems with the team now.

I want to know who replaces all these "underperforming" players? Flanno Jr, for Chad? On today's performance and a few others I've seen this year, no. The forwards? Moylan? Bar one or two games we've never put our top 17 on the park.

Injuries and the inconsistency that accompanies it have killed this season. That's pretty much it.

agree with you Feej - been pretty unlucky season, which sums up today in a nutshell.
We have been living on life support for months really and paddles will be out next Sunday again.
The tears post game today are understandable but when the dust settles, one would see that it was a season that got away.
First game, Intercept pass to former cult shark hero - enough said

Then Chad runs out of the line thinking he can read a play and let's the full back in the biggest gap. He actually forced the full back to run into the gap

What the hell kind of kick was put it by Chad when Croker ran the field? Worst kick this year. I think the sharks just stood there thinking Chad wtf?

Chad was directly to blame for 2 trys. Like others have said can't say he was good because he hit 2 field goals because sezer did aswell and Canberra are upgrading him.

First set of over time Chad puts up a bomb from 50 out and they're tackled almost 30 out on tackle one. Anyone who defends Chad today can eat a dick!

Yeah I remember it like yesterday.

Overlap on the right through the hands and match winning try.

Who threw the intercept pass again?

Uh, what’s my post got to do with Chad? I never defended him or blamed him, I mentioned the ref.

Chad sucks.

Losing key players provides the excuse for not delivering. They tried hard, were brave and unlucky.... blah blah blah

Once again their was a lack of composure and killer instinct to nail the big moments. FJ's shit pass summed up the game.

The first half was very good apart from FJ's goal kicking. Second half was way off. Fell off tackles and never looked like scoring.

Expecting more from Chad is pointless. He is what he is and he ain't getting better. Wade was quiet again.

Old mate leading my tipping comp was 11 in front about 7-weeks a go.

If the Tigers win, I’ll be 1 behind him.

Oh, and you can put your house, super & share portfolio on the Tig Togs next week.
Yay - tipped the round, caught the leader. You should all, by now, be soiling your derps in ecstasy.

FYI - easiest pick. Sharks to fail in Gal’s last game vs Raiders.

Next easiest tip for last round - failure to make finals with making Robbie Farrar’s last game for a Tig Togs, a sweet, victorious, fairytale farewell.

Sharks Rule No.1: When the going gets tough, call for a taxi.
