I have to say, I’m not impressed with Wilton either - I’ll reserve judgement just yet as he’s spent a fair bit of time out of position, but not seeing what he brings to the table yet.
2 absolutely wasted bench spots again in Magoo and Trindall. Has been same all year, we’re essentially playing with 15. You might aswell but a big unit on the bench even if you just bring him on for the odd attacking set, couple of hit ups and then back off, he’d be more use than Billy or Trindall.
There were some really embarrassing performances in that 2nd half. SJ didn’t want to be touched and looked like a man who just doesn’t want to be here anymore, Woods was an absolute cat in both attack and defence....
BHU was decent off the bench - more like what we should be expecting from him.
Similar to another thread, look at our 17 today, who’d have got a game for Melbourne? Who was/is better than their opposite number?
Wade maybe gets in their squad based on his reputation from years ago, but certainly not on his last 2 years showing. Maybe BHU and at an absolute push Tony might sneak into their squad every now and then, but none would be guaranteed in their top 17, let alone starting 13.

I’m not ready to completely write him off and I’ll give him some benefit of the doubt about who he’s playing with and what position he has been thrown in to, but besides that game against parramatta I don’t think he’s shown that much. For his size he gets absolutely dominated. Needs to get some aggression or he’s going nowhere.
