Game of Thrones II

Probably true.

I am quite tired of Little Finger, was hoping he'd die this season so we don't have to waste any screen time on him when the real stuff starts happening. Same reason I was happy the entire High Sparrow storyline was ended in 10 mins so we don't have to hear about that old f**k anymore.

Sam's storyline seemed like it was going nowhere as well, but that f**king library has to include some huge bit of info that will be a game,e changer. No other reason why they'd give it such s big reveal.

Old Sparrow was happy to die and take all the high lords out with him.

Jon's a Targeryan and Targeryans marry siblings and close relatives.

Also, lets take a minute in rememberance of Little Miss Piggies tight, tight unit.

Wow that was epic. It set up next season perfectly.

We know Dany is coming for Cersei, presumably with the backing of the Tyrell's and Martel's and we know Arya is on a one woman Vendetta.

Jon and the north are the wildcards, it will be interesting to see what they do given they seem more concerned with the night king. I am not sure what consequences, if any, there will be now that it has been confirmed Jon has a stronger claim to the throne than Dany. As it stands, only Bran knows and even if he conveys the message to Jon, who is to say he isn't lying? Perhaps the library where Sam is will have some reference to it (from the other woman who was present)?

Jaimie is another interesting one, not sure what he will do next.

So much went on in a single episode! Parts that were great but already seemed forgetting include Davos calling out the red woman. What a great scene, great acting all around.
Olenna tyrell in dorne, shutting up the sand snakes.
Arya killing walder frey. That scene between walder frey and jamie. Jamie will be interesting next year. You had that scene with him and the blackfish were the blackfish called him a disappointment. Followed by the scene were jamie is told that the blackfish died fighting, and Jamie realising that the blackfish was everything he is not. Then the scene with walder frey 'we aren't so different, you and i'. Be interesting to see where he goes next season

Dany and Jon to hook up. Maybe alittle incestuous but a small price to pay.

I worry about sexy red priestess going into the lonesome woods by herself .... no doubt she will hook up with the travelling band of hilly bullies and the hound. hopefully not the last we've see of her. Still looks super hot.

Yeah, it's good that Jaime doesn't look very happy with Cersei. Blew up the Tyrells and indirectly killed their own son just so she could be Queen. In saying that, it was f**king epic when they crowned her as queen. She's an awesome character and looked sick in that black dress with the metal plates.

The R+L=J reveal was epic

Olenna Tyrell GOAT

Something else pointed out to me that went over my head; Arya, Brienne, Melisandre & the Hound/The Brotherhood are getting very close geographically. Arya meeting them all again?

Personally, I thought there was too much crammed in for one episode. They could have stretched it out more. Tommen's death was way too quick and easy. Cersi should have been in the room - with some sort of drama to climax it. Walder Frey got his. For some reason I thought the girl was a relative of Talisa, Robb Starks wife also murdered in the red wedding . They looked related.

Episode was 10/10 but bastard bowl still gets my vote as the best this series.

Tommen's death was perfect.

I'm starting to think that in addition to being Azor Ahai Jon is going to end up the unwilling king of everything by the end.

He doesn't come across as the type with enough balls to do.

And I can't see Jon as King. Greater warrior, yes. Great leader? King? NFW.

It's Queen Of Dragons all the way...

Considering that it was the longest episode ever, I disagree too much was crammed in. I think everything we saw was necessary to see.

I understand that Tommen jumping in front of Cersei would be climatic but she wouldn't have allowed it - unless she walks in right as he jumps.

His death didn't need to be elaborate or hard though. He was a weak person, and went out meekly.

He definitely didn't want to be King in the Norf and look how that turned out. Dany needs a marriage alliance and him, titsucker and Jamie are about the only eligible bachelors of any consequence left in Westeros.

It wouldn't be by choice, much like almost everything that has happened to Jon up to this point.

I'm curious to see how much Jon will embrace his Targaryen identity once his finds out about his parents

I forgot about Euron. I guess Dany in leather and the three dragons all on Leashes with him yanking their chains on the Iron throne drinking from a Horn Stein would be a suitably metal ending to the series.

People saying not enough big deaths in the episode
- The king
- The Queen
- The Grand maester (pycelle)
- The High Septon
- The heads of 3 of the biggest houses, Kevan Lannister, Mace Tyrell, Walder Frey
- key side characters, Loras and Lancel

Most Tv shows make a big deal out of killing a 'named character', game of thrones has killed 9 in one episode, on the back of the battle pf the bastards, with all the otherwise plot lines combined in

He was used and manipulated by everyone his entire life, that was one of his only acts of his own accord.

And that's why they call it King's Landing. (thanks reddit)

All good points on Tommen.

Weak exit typifies his character.

Glad to see the last of him, high sparrow, Margery, Pycell, Loras and Lancel. Pretty much all the annoying characters, including Walder Frey. No more wasting screen time next season. All good.
