I don't get how that works into the prophecy though. Jon wasn't born under the bleeding star. By the time Ned rested that sword against the bed, Jon was already born.

He was born from his mothers womb, which technically is where all the blood was from, which was sitting right under the star of the sword.... that works doesn't it?

I have no idea how many times I am going to have to watch episode ten before I tire of it.

#9 for me.

When bored, turn to #9.

I've only watched #10 a couple of times. Aside from "King of the North!!", and maybe when Frey gets his throat slit, there isn't as many a feel good moments like #9. Plus there was no build up in climax - it kinda of jumped all over the show trying to close out all the subplots. The high Sparrow up and music was pretty cool though, kinda spooky but again doesn't give you that kick ass feeling like #9 - which opens with those f**king awesome dragons and closes with Ramsay finally getting his head smacked in by Jon and, then eaten by his dogs. I could watch that all day with a huge grin on my face not too dissimilar to Ramsay's.

I'm re-watching the whole thing from the beginning. Oh the feels in episode one seeing them all together. Arya hugging Jon. Theon and Robb bro-ing out. Ned with his head in the right place.

As for the most recent season, whilst 9 and 10 were awesome, I still can't go past 'The Door' for oh-my-god mouth on the floor stuff. That episode was perfection.

So is House Lannister completely alone now and doomed? Cersei hates marriage so can't see any alliances forming with anyone else. Euron is the only one who possibly be interested in an alliance.

Why re-watch when you can have Samuel L. MOTHERf**kIN Jackson narrate the story from the start

I've restarted watching from the beginning on Blu Ray.

In not sure where all the recent teleporting complaints come from. They have been warping from location to location since the beginning. The only time travel is shown is if it's a plot point. Eg Joffrey and Arya or Tyrion recruiting the hill tribes. Next scene they are at their destination anyway.

At 1080p the costume design really stands out.

The other thing I'd forgotten is how Season 1 is basically CSI:Westeros.

So different from the following seasons.

It's not cutting out the travel, it is the inconsistent arrival timed given the size of westeros and the methods of travel/ size of the armies. Westeros is apparently the size of South America. Still, the tv and books both share this characteristic along with the super reliable internet-of-ravens. Minor nitpicking.

The travel times are ridiculous but they have been that way since season 1. The teleporting claims have got prominence in season 5 and 6 for some reason.

I've never really given a shit about this whole 'teleporting' nonsense.
What are they supposed to do? There's only 10 eps a season and people want it spent watching characters traveling?

Only time I thought it was weird was the last scene in this last season when Varys was on the boat with Dany. But even then I just thought that some time must have passed. Pretty logical.

I watched the end of season 3 last night.

Best bit of transportation I've seen is by Robb Stark's baby.

Robb: 'I've got it! We'll attack Casterly Rock! Let's head to the Twins to get Edmure married off.'

Next episode, on their way to the Twins 'Robb, I'm pregnant'

Next episode arrive at the Twins. And she has a full blown, ready to pop gut!

We sure it wasn't another demon baby? Do babies take 2 months to gestate?

I think it ties in with the time travelling foetus theory

So explain this to me.... is Jon Robert Baratheon's son or was Lianna Stark banging someone else?

An R+L=J virgin? Very rare

Jon is Rhaegar Targaryen & Lyanna Stark's son. She was only betrothed to Robert but never married him and never banged. The "theory" says she was secretly in love with Rhaegar and ran off with him and not kidnapped as the official story goes.
