When watching Parra play Im often correct when i think to myself, "damn, here come a another penalty". Last nights game had my instincts totally incorrect on a number of occasions. I honestly felt Parra got treated as other teams last night. For that reason Id say it was the best and fairest refereeing Parramatta have experienced in years. Sure there were the frequent forward passes from the "Startled Bunnies" but generally i was happy.
Thankfully tnat Pererara goose was nowhere to be seen last night.

The constant forward passes from dummy half by the Roosters and Souths that do not get picked up are a blight on the game

I am so proud to wear my jersey today. The gutsiest win i have seen in years.

I strongly believe hayne leaving this team is the best thing to happen for us. His lazy attitude rubbed off on the team.

2 Dally M's, leading try scorer, most line break assist, most tackle breaks and he's lazy?

Does Bart have a 3rd account?

While we can't dwell on the past and have to accept he is gone, there is no denying how talented he was and how important he was to our team while he was here.

It was a pleasure to watch him play, he produced the best football I have ever seen (I was a tad too young in the 80's to appreciate that side) and I'm sad he left however I wish him all the best and I will watch him if he ever gets a chance. I have zero animosity towards him.

I am equally happy to support the team without him and I look forward to the future. I will never expect us to ever win a game because I have been let down too much before (and clearly I have my own issues with trust) however I will always support them and get to pretty much every Sydney game I can, which is pretty much all.

The fact he was so important made our attack predictable. I said we'd improve when he left and so far I've been right.

Yes. He only got those accolades due to his freakish skill and ability. His dedication to training was piss poor. He was treated as the golden child by his coaches and got away with things others couldnt. That creates division within the team and pisses off team mates to the point they dont want to play as hard.

Except when he was unpredictable and created plenty for us!

If simpletons in the team get upset because better players get treated better they can f**k off! Has been happening in sports for their existence, why is Hayne the only one that is referenced?

True. We'll see how right I am when our sample size increases.

You also don't know what you don't know. If he had stayed we may have won the comp, when we don't this year we just don't know what might have been. Especially if as you are suggesting we do well.

Well he proved that one man teams don't win anything.

The fact is he is so good that he will be influential regardless of whether or not he wants to be. That means he needs to set the example for effort, dedication and attitude. If he doesn't then he is having a negative influence on the team, even if his on field contribution is outstanding. The game only goes for 80 minutes but the team spends dozens of hours during the week preparing for that game. That's where leadership is most important.

What we can prove this year is that we can do better without him. Anything else is speculation.

Would've-could've is all bullshit.

He was a cheating team away from a premiership. Coulda-woulda aside Hindy, Burt, Cayless and Hayne (and the rest of the team) were cheated out of a premiership, there is absolutely no doubt about that!

So if we go worse, what does that tell us? You are wrong? Is that what it tells us?

I was wrong about most of the deadshits in our 'up and coming young side' back in '09 - guys like Inu, Mortimer, Mateo and Keating. I was even wrong that we would always be contenders with a superstar like Hayne.

So I stopped making predictions. How can I then be wrong? The only prediction I've made in recent years is that we would be better off without Hayne. I really hope I'm right and so far I am.

You better hope I'm right too. It's a real catch-22 for the Pou haters though hey?

If only the coaches who coached him for hours a day had the same sort of vision some people have on this forum.

He does have freakish skill and ability, but you know what & I reckon Hayne knows this too, you don't get that skilful without dedication to training

Of course we are, that loser Hayne was holding back all those superstar Parra teams he was playing in. Thank God that bum is gone, cause now them stars have been unshackled and free from all those missed tackles, dropped balls, forward passes, penalty infringements, pillow hitups, confused play patterns, star gazing at high balls, kick charge downs, inability to create consistent repeat sets, inability to hold out offenses that had the ball for more then two sets and all round mental frailty that Hayne, the worlds mightiest loser, displayed while f**k arsing around in our team.

Yeah, good riddance to that tosser, who needs that massive attitude sapping hypnotic guru? Not us, we have Hoppa and the gang now. Life just couldn't be better, could it?
