Choc has a few mistakes in his game but how f**king good is the teams line speed in defence with that mad merkin leading the way???? Light and day from last year, and we hit on defence so bloody hard. Wicks = John Wicks he just f**ks people up.

His misses must have a huge grin ear to ear all-the-time... :D

Of course we are, that loser Hayne was holding back all those superstar Parra teams he was playing in. Thank God that bum is gone, cause now them stars have been unshackled and free from all those missed tackles, dropped balls, forward passes, penalty infringements, pillow hitups, confused play patterns, star gazing at high balls, kick charge downs, inability to create consistent repeat sets, inability to hold out offenses that had the ball for more then two sets and all round mental frailty that Hayne, the worlds mightiest loser, displayed while f**k arsing around in our team.

Yeah, good riddance to that tosser, who needs that massive attitude sapping hypnotic guru? Not us, we have Hoppa and the gang now. Life just couldn't be better, could it?

I'm just glad we're not missing him. Great player, but a poisonous influence in what is supposed to be a team game.

Hey Poo, is this part of what you ritually use as the turn on of your foreplay with your misses?

Do you really think that Pou? Serious question, brother.

Yeah I do. I don't know for sure, obviously, but on balance of evidence I reckon it's more likely than not.

That said, if we could get him back for unders then I'd be stoked to have him back. But if we were paying him what he's worth (as a player) then we'd be paying too much. I reckon Foran on overs (as a player) is better value than Hayne because of Foran's leadership (which I also don't know for certain).

I've come to believe that personalities within the senior player group are of massive importance, especially under the salary cap. Possibly as important as the amount of playing talent within the squad.

Watched the replay. He will go now as an imortal, but how the hell does GI not stop Reece or Folau, with the later having one player around him. GI doesn't even manage to get a hand on either player. Poor effort for a player of his standard.

But he will get no criticism for it. If Hayne had missed those tackles, everyone in the media would be talking about his defence is not up there with Slater et al.

Seriously though, who cares what the f**king media say in these circumstances? Maybe the media just don't see everything through Jarryd-coloured glasses? Jarryd, Inglis, Slater et al. are/were all great players, and all different in style. If you ask a bunch of neutrals whether they noticed any excessive criticism of Jarryd's defense, I reckon you won't find any more ayes than you would with other star players.

i reckon hayne was so naturally gifted that he did all he did without the need to go hard at training etc - so he probably came across to others as laid back and not as hard working .... so that may have rubbed off on other players and maybe they didn't push themselves as hard cos they saw that the best didn't need to so neither did they - plus i don't think hayne urged others on - he was more about his own game

but i think guys like watmough and foran do have to work hard and do urge others to do the same - so from a leadership perspective if people follow them then they work hard too

hayne was just being himself - he probably didn't even know he needed to get others to work harder - maybe he doesn't understand that it isn't as easy for others

just my 5 cents .... but hey, I'm not there so I don't really know

Inglis was quiet and did little for Souths. He is massively over rated. Sure he can run with the ball but he goes quiet for ages in a game and we saw that his lateral defence is not good.

Mate, this is not a marriage break up, no need for "feel good" counselling here. ;-)

How the f**k will he ever go down as an immortal? At his best hayne was faster, stronger and overall a better player. Inglis and his mates cheated us out of a GF victory, finally won one last year in a star studded team. Hayne has twice won the Dally Medal got cheated out of the golden boot last year because he defected to the NFL and has twice won player of the Series in Origin. Inglis is a top line player but he is no immortal.

The honour of the next immortal should go to someone like Peter Sterling, Mal Meninga, Norm Provan or Jonathan Thurston not Inglis.

Think Ray Price should come before Sterling, Meninga, Thurston.
Agreed on Norm Provan though.

But what does that actually mean? If people want to remember Billy Rogers or Paul Carrige as an immortal, they are welcome to. There's nothing you or I can do about it.

Greg Inglis is over-rated by the media. He's nowhere near as good as Jarryd Hayne or Billy Slater as a fullback.

Hayne is three times the player GI is. But hayne for one reason or another was scrutinised his whole career.

'Lazy, out of position, inconsistant.....' We've heard it all about hayne. But With GI it seems he can do no wrong. Last night two efforts are what im talking about. God forbid had that been hayne making those poor attempts, the media would of been calling for his sacking.

Btw, about GI becoming an immortal, it's only my opinion based on how the media and expects talk about GI.

I was wrong about most of the deadshits in our 'up and coming young side' back in '09 - guys like Inu, Mortimer, Mateo and Keating. I was even wrong that we would always be contenders with a superstar like Hayne.

So I stopped making predictions. How can I then be wrong? The only prediction I've made in recent years is that we would be better off without Hayne. I really hope I'm right and so far I am.

You better hope I'm right too. It's a real catch-22 for the Pou haters though hey?

Can you only ever be wrong with predictions?

We are on the same points as last year at the same point, so how are you right so far?

Haters? How can anyone hate anyone they don't know? Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they hate you.

I hope you are right, i want to more than anything for this club to be successful!
