Never said he was - but the bloke said that he failed at identifying young talent. Not really the case, though.

Big difference between identifying young talent and promoting young players to first grade due to suspension or injury. That is a necessity.

Its not like we had a team of superstars and SK decided to run with sio, Blair and Morgan.

Sio and Allgood were bound for first grade before the arrival of super coach. Kelly was in the melb system, and played first grade under bellamy, just waiting for a break.

Not having a go, but really sick of the SK sugar coating.

I only have one thing to say that is so matter who the coach is when the cattle is not their you dont win games simple as that need some serious recruiting in the forwards,if buldogs had as much possession as you guys did in the second half and a near full strength team like you guys did they would have won by 30.

Bulldogs had 51% of the possession for the match. Nice try though.

I'm yet to be convinced of how many of these players he blooded are going to be career first graders either. Stuart is still being forced to pick some out of necessity and guys like Morgan, Allgood, Kelly, Ryan and Lasalo will be playing for new contracts throughout this year. I wouldn't expect all of them to get extensions.

Not really - if he really wanted to, due to injuries or nobody being good enough, he could have put Lasalo and Smith in the centres. But he gave Sio, Morgan and Blair a run.

Regardless - he identified them as good enough for first grade. He could also have gone for Mackenzie or the likes of those.

Kearney was a failure, but he had one or two minute successes IMO.

Anyway, he's thankfully gone - long live the reign of Sticky!

In my humble opinion, if Luke Kelly had played and Reni had played uninjured, the result would have been very different.
Well done "Team". I havent seen such strong and agressive Parramatta defence for years particularly in the second half.

Unfortunately we just don't have the depth to cover for such injuries.

Yeh we have depth for some areas like wing and centre etc but when a player like reni goes down we don't have players to cover what he adds to the side

Kelepi didn't let us down when on the field, would love to see him play more minutes next week if Reni is out

It's great to have a bit of angry merkin in the pack again

Positives from the game the other night:

*Our defence was solid and we did so well to keep the Dogs scoreless in the second half. Our defence out wide improved in the second half, rather than the backs waiting back, we put pressure on them, forcing the mistakes
*Our go forward has improved since 2012, blokes like Lussick, Mannah and Allgood are consistently making good yards
*We were 10-0 behind, then 20-10, last year we wouldve give up at that stage but we hung there against last years runners up.
*Kelepi coming off the bench played well, hope he gets another shot at first grade
* I finally got a good seat at ANZ, after so many years of trying to get a good seat for our home matches.
*Chris Sandow, much improved since 2012.

Negatives:
*Injuries to Maitua and Luke Kelly just before the match, caused a bit of reshuffle, and Paulo played as if he was unsure at playing 5/8 or Lock
*Keating taking too many wrong options from dummy, one particular passing to Ben Smith where he was marked. Although Smith didnt help when he shouldve passed in field
*The attack was a bit of a let down, Hayne didnt play his best, but Roberts was ordinary. We had our chances but blew it.

*Playing the Parramatta theme song at the end of the match, :? but we didnt win. WTF??? Dont know if it was a negative but it was embarrassing.
