our crappy attack has the most points for in the comp.

gordie's brain has receded with his hairline.
he still hasn't cottoned on to the reason why he's on the panel.

to make freeman look smart.

Ahh. It's that time again.
St. George are shining and the knockers are (Yes) knocking.
Tallis - who really gives him the time of day.
Pearce - as above. Freeman - even less
Anyway...
Wheather Soward is up for and gets a Daily M Award or Hayne is a better chance is sort of inconsequential.
The important thing is he (we) all stay focused on the week to week grind for now.

We are clear favorites and with that come the target that is painted on our backs
Last weekend the Bulldog learnt that lesson - bitch slapped by the eels who punched way above their weight.
If we can come away with our creditability intact on friday night then I'll start to think those glorious thoughts.
Melbourne have been their for the last 4 years, they have half a QLD state of origin side in their ranks.
If we win the minor comp that be nice
BUT to win the comp, hold that massive trophy - That's what it's all about.
Last year Melbourne where favorites and that got slapped 40-nil.
It's only human that they'll have vengence on their mind no matter who they play
September footy is a long way away.
We've won a few games more that the other. There's still plenty more to win and or possilbly loose.

For now it's Melbourne @ Jubilee. That's all I'm worried about for now.
Remembering 85 - 2 points from getting all 3 grades
92-93 only second best twice.
99 "AM" put a "I" in "Team" and it all came unstuck

The only sure thing is we're in the semi's.

Nice post. Disregard the hype.

The thing that makes me feel good about this year is that Bennett has the players thinking the same thing.

The thing about Jarryd Hayne is that his form was average until the drawn match against Souths. After that, he has been on fire but he did give Soward a big head start.

Who cares what they had to say?

I'd prefer the media avoid talking us up. Let's face it, Tallis, Phelan, Wiz and Pearce aren't exactly the most astute analysts in the game.

had thurston been suspended for his kick would he still be in contention or automatically disqualified?

I don't think Players get disqualified anymore. I think you just lose points for suspensions now.

I wouldn't give a flying f**k if we won the Grand Final 4-0 because someone did a Justin Hodges and passed the ball to one of our players in their own in-goal. The simple fact would be that we won, and that's easily good enough for me.

I find Melbourne very boring to watch at times, but I'm sure their supporters wouldn't give 2007 back.

Stick their comments up on the dressing room wall this week at training and let the players use it as motivation to annihilate the mexicans.

I hope the professional bench warmer keeps giving us sh*t, along with Pearce and Freeman. Let the media blow smoke up everyone else's arse; what the media says has no bearing on the scoreboard or the end results.

As for the Dally M; I have no respect for this medal. Chosen by media hacks who will award points to their favourite players regardless of their performance. Jonathon Thurston has truly inherited Bargearse's mantle; not just as the best halfback, but as the most fellated player by the media.

has anyone heard this f**kwit, when he is commentating on a cowgirls or broncos game, the dribble that comes out of his mouth, he could fill a bucket and give it to steve clark.
