The fact is, we are not at the level required to be a top four side in this competition. This is not my opinion now, this is what I have been saying on here the entire season and people's expectations were way too high particularly after the win against the Dragons.

Our lack of quality and deficiencies have been apparent throught the entire season not just in in poor recent losses to the Bronco's, Rooster's and Sea Eagles.

It has been obvious in comparison to the better sides we lack speed in the outside backs, our kicking game is poor, poor attacking structure and set plays, our dummy halfs offer no attacking threat and perhaps most importantly we don't have a front rower enforcer capable of big minutes, 200 running metres and off loads. There will be no premiership for us until we address our deficiencies, or at least some of them.

Most people on here have too high expectations.

We are still the youngest squad in the comp. Our NSW Cup side is running 1st 3 points clear of 2nd. Flegg is 2nd and should win the comp. SG Ball are national championships. That along with most of our team signed up means we should keep improving in years to come

as shit has maloney has been recently, still back Maloney over Moylan in the semi's this year (provided we make it lol)

You look at the stats they aren't as far apart as the Moylan fan boys would have you believe.

Moylan played 17 games 14 try assists. 1 try no FG.

Maloney played 16 games. 11 try assists. 2 tries. 3 FG

Still plenty of games to go so I guess we see where they end up.

Same old sad f**ks waiting to sink the boot in. Anyone who watches Moylan defend and then watches Jimmy and still thinks that fraud wearing our colours is better has no idea

Yep and I enjoyed every single moment of it.

The best bit for me was watching the last 10 minutes. Cut and paste from of game when Panthers were on the attack within the 20.

I also enjoyed the hospital looping pass that was intercepted too. :p

I'm just shitting around. both moyza and Jimmy have their flaws but obviously I'm biased and am gonna support the guy wearing our Jersey and bag the guy wearing a different jersey. if moylan and Jimmy were swapped I would be bagging Jimmy out.

And it isn't like we are bad now due to the trade

Good thing for us is we have Maloney and Cleary to take control of the game, Cronulla really only have Moylan, Townsend just doesn’t do enough as his position should suggest.

When a teams on a roll with momentum m, that’s when Moylan is very dangerous, but I’m just not sold on him leading a team when it’s a real grinding game which is what semi’s games are about - he offers more than Townsend, but I just can’t see him always delivering when it’s needed.

Cronulla should have broken through in that final passage tonight but they basically just kept going sideways and offloading to players who were flat footed and unable to provide momentum, that’s where I see Jimmy directing the forwards, telling them which line to run and when to call for the ball, and his short kicking game is usually spot on.

That gives me confidence for us if we make September (one game as it comes folks)
