Im not a fsn of Hook. But atleast 2 of ghose points are wrong.

If DWZ was fit he plays. Guaranteed. Fullback or wing... he is a certain starter

I also believe Wallace made the decision on his own. Hook picked him while busted too many times for me to believe he would pressure him out. He likely cost us the game sending Wallace out to replace Katoa who was on fire in the finals.

My thoughts exactly. Wal was and is totally 'busted' from a long career. There is no way on earth DWZ would not have played if he was fit.

We have had only 2 players play every game. Only twice been able to name the same 17. Come round 25. We would of had more weeks missed then 2015.

To be a very very outside chance of the Minor Premiership instead of fighting for the spoon is a great achievement from all involved really

Tried to get seats in the Away supporters Bay at Suncorp and was told none available and was given seats surrounded by bronco supporters, when we arrived at the ground we find that the away team bay had a huge block of empty seats, making it look like Panther supporters didn,t follow their team.Am I paranoid ?

Yeah I can't imagine Griffin leaving DWZ out unless he was advised to do so by the medical staff.

I get why we named him. No doubt the players knew he wasn't playing. We have limited options it was a gamble we had to take Luai back there

Totally agree.

Considering our injuries this year are like 2015 all over again. It's a miracle that we are actually in the 8. Options are getting low when you're down to a third string full back.

I do like Gould's comments about the Broncos game on Friday night saying something along the lines of 'they had a golden toilet'. Meaning every single half chance and bounce of the ball came their way. Some nights are just like that for both Broncos and the Panthers alike.

We need to re-group and work hard. Maloney's is only (i believe about 50% fit) and that didn't help either. Sadly we had little to replace him with either.

Round 2 was the only game we had our top 17. Count the games missed against the games missed in 2015. I have this year finishing with more out.

Edwards
Mansour
Blake
Whare
DWZ
Maloney
Cleary
RCG
Wallace
Merrin
Yeo
Kikau
JFH

Peachey
McKendry
Tamou
CHN

Does anyone think we'd be so low if we had that team most weeks?

We had more games missed by the time origin started.

I think there is a lot of expectation being in Griffin's 3rd year and having brought Maloney into the team.

In theory yes but the year didn't play out that way. Half our spine being out for most of the year. Blake missing 8 weeks. Mansour 12 weeks.

Even depth guys May missed the 1st 8 weeks. Cartwright has played 4 games. Waddell missed 14 weeks. Tui-Loso likely out for the rest of the season. Hetherington 3 suspensions.

Hopefully we get a straight forward end to the year so we have enough to judge the players and coach.

If you are looking at players. Who has gone backwards since last year?
I have Merrin and Tamou staying the same. Can't think of any who are worse now than last year

Hearing there is turmoil at the club.
Hook won't see out his contract.
• Ciraldo to take over
• Wallace forced into retirement by Hook not by choice
• DWZ was fit & was to play Broncos but Hook chose Luai
• Players not happy and are pushing for Ciraldo & Wallace

Edit Sorry Dallen not Dylan

If you knew Wal and the struggles he has had the past 18 months with his injuries you would know he was struggling physically.
Everyone close to him could see he was done.

Dallin was always touch and go for last week and naming him I think was a smoke screen for Luai.

The fact is, we are not at the level required to be a top four side in this competition. This is not my opinion now, this is what I have been saying on here the entire season and people's expectations were way too high particularly after the win against the Dragons.

Our lack of quality and deficiencies have been apparent throught the entire season not just in in poor recent losses to the Bronco's, Rooster's and Sea Eagles.

It has been obvious in comparison to the better sides we lack speed in the outside backs, our kicking game is poor, poor attacking structure and set plays, our dummy halfs offer no attacking threat and perhaps most importantly we don't have a front rower enforcer capable of big minutes, 200 running metres and off loads. There will be no premiership for us until we address our deficiencies, or at least some of them.
