Though the smh article is pretty much spot on.

It is just inexperience from May he will learn. There isn't a week that goes by that a player doesn't have some knob in his DM's abusing him or a run at public.

Players are told never react. in 99.9999% of times they don't he will learn from it

It's Gus's mouth that's the issue here. Kikau has to do what he feels right. But for Him to publicly say "he wanted out" the week we play them is just Ego, bitter and crap really. Like I said I'm losing respect for the guy and I was very big on the things he did here. I still am, but I am sour about his comments now.

5 months later the week we play the Bulldogs. All of a sudden a story starts about Kikau wanting out of here. Another timing coincidence!
Gould at his best to stir up a bit of trouble and deflect attention away from the Bulldogs troubles. Give that man an Oscar, or a role as a spin doctor for a political party.

The whole kikau thing came up again in the first place from the penrith journo that writes for the weekender.

He wrote that kiks contract was yet to be registered with the nrl due to salary cap squeeze at the dogs next year.

Gus responded to that and than the following day he just told the truth about what happened.

Hardly being self centred or egoist..

Literally has just told the truth...

Kinda again shows the weird thing people have against gus at our club...

I mean barrett was head coach....he was the one who wanted the photo taken...hes ditched penrith twice... yet not a word has been said about him in relation to this incident...just gus lol.

Tbh its a storm in a tea cup.. everyone on here thinking gus has done this as a way to get back at the club are definitley thinking to much into it..

Was just an accident and they obviously didnt intend for some security guard to take a photo of the cctv!

No Vossy mentioned the Kiks thing originally. The journo was just going off the radio. the wording was the issue from Gus not explaining his part in it

So Kiks said he had to get out of Penrith?
Why has he not asked for a release earlier?

You aren't going to move a $500k player from NSW Cup. Also is perfect timing for when the Leeds owner is in town

I think it will get sorted and both will start there but at this point in time neither is registered. They have 16 guys off contract next year some on decent coin if enough of them move on then they fit both players in

I'm sure the media and NRL marketing are licking their lips, cause deadset there is no other way to hype the reigning, defending, 4-0 premiers against the wooden spooners coming off a 44-0 drumming in the graveyard timeslot on Sunday.
