Gerard Beale quickest over 40m in the comp?

Sisa Waqa would beat Uate from what I've seen.

I used to watch him play union and he was just outrageously fast. Watching him in league now, he is a level above any other player in terms of speed.

He may have fast feet, but he is slow between the ears.

He got left for dead by Pearce and about 6 Cowboys players when he played for us. Most would remember it as the time Brandy cheered "GO MITCH".... followed by Pearce throwing a dumbass speculator 5m forward and 20m infield on zero tackle.

Pearce has swept onto a wayward pass and took off down the wing. The cowboys all turned and chased, but Waqa took a good few seconds to realise what was going on so was nowhere to be seen in support.

Not much point being quick if you have zero idea of what your doing on the field.

Hayne was still in front of the league players at the 40.
Beating the likes of Barba Morris, Gardner.

I don't see any player coming close to Beale. Not even Uate. He is close to a second quicker than Hayne over the 40. Just WOW.

1/10 troll attempt.

Also the image above was clearly from a standing start which Hayne was fantastic at iirc.

On the field I think players like Slater, Soward, Gardner and Barba excel of 40.

Hayne made 30+ linebreaks in 2009. You don't manage that if you're not super quick over 40m.

He might've lost some speed since but he still led at the 40 in that race last year.

Chris Lawrence is one bloke who seems to hold his speed very well over longer distances

Some images of his pace really stand out:

His debut game against the broncos picks up a loss ball 40m out. Berrigan shows him the sideline, Lawrence obliges and the Current Australian center is seen lying on the ground scratching his head

In 09 against the storm when he burnt slater down the sideline to wrap up the infront of a packed leichhardt oval

Yeah I don't think anyone would doubt Lawrence's speed.
The fact that he dislocated his hip from a tackle indicates the amount of velocity he can garner.

Not a scratch of evidence besides someone randomly spurting a number. Typical.

Need a current day Martin Offiah vs Lee Oudenryn race on the field in all footy gear

Slater has competed in many of the 'Australia's Greatest Athlete' so he does sprint in a straight line and he's won the 40m sprint easily a couple of times.

Also, you're full of sh*t, Inglis would score....Inglis in space is untouchable, just like Jennings and Uate and tackling him when he's got speed on him is also impossible just like the other two....your bias makes you look like an idiot.

Yeah, Inglis has never been tracked down and tackled. Stopping him is physically impossible, too. Even though he's been stopped plenty of times throughout his career

You don't know your arse from your elbows mate. Inglis won't score another 90 metre try, EVER. Quote that in your sig.
