Roughly, taking into account we don't know profit margins, production costs etc....how much money would the eels stand to make out of a promotion like this, as I could see this as being a big, big seller. Who would we have to pay part royalties to?

It appears to be an NRL item, most probably produced by Sports Delivered. As the NSWRL owned the rights to the competition, and hence all broadcast rights and replays, I would say they would be getting a most of the royalties or more so the NRL as the proceeding club competition, Would make the money on it. So from the DVD itself, I would think we would get the same as what we always get from our merchindise and boardcast rights. Regardless of how much merch we do or don't sell we get the NRL grant.

So then it depends on how much we get it for wholesale before selling it at our Retail store. Which is where we make any additional money from sales.

However I don't disagree with you, I personally expect this to sell like hotcakes.

I know I have just purchased mine, and eagerlly await delivery.

Thanks for the link, but it currently states they are out of stock. I'm not paying and then waiting for stock to come in. I'll keep an eye on it.

Not before time. Not on the sportsdelivered website though, didn't think it would be a case of them finally gotting their act together.

I've already ordered mine as I didn't like the look of that 'Limited Edition' nonsense on the top of it, surely that's a red herring though?

But yes long long long overdue and I'm sure they'll sell like buggery.

I have 82 and 83 already individually, but I'll gladly put them on eBay and buy this set!!!
