The blonde woman is possibly the most annoying actress I've seen. She's on SNL and like most of them now is not funny at all

SNL has only ever been funny if viewed in highlight form. At a guess I'd say 30 mins of genuinely funny sketch material every 5 years. If you watch it every week, it is torturously unfunny.

Mind you, that all sketch comedy. Monty Python make a fine "best of" DVD, but have you ever just watched an episode? Absolute garbage.

The only people who can watch sketch comedy every week and laugh are 8-14 year boys, or anyone that is stoned.

SNL is crap but they still produce some good talent. Wiig and McKinnon are two of the best in recent years.

There are some good smart sketch comedy shows. Monkey Dust and Portlandia are two.

Ok so if you read the leak of the plot synopsis on reddit a few months back I'm sad to tell you that it's legit.

The online backlash against this movie is really immense. It seems that the combination of another pointless reboot and using feminism as a gimmick is going to be fatal.

it is as far as my house is concerned

this dross will never be allowed anywhere near my f**king house in any format whilst i am in it

the missus and daughter are free to watch it whenever i am not home, but if i see it on disc anywhere in the house, it will be snapped and tossed

colombia pictures should re-release a special SPECIAL edition of the original on all formats and cash-in big time - i would buy a copy in all formats on principle alone

I was excited when I kept hearing of a new Ghostbusters movie.
I got upset when I heard it wasn't going to be a sequel with the original cast, but a remake.
I thought I would still give it a chance and hopefully they would hire some great talent.
They hired Paul Feig. I started to get less excited. I thought Bridesmaids was horribly overrated.
Then Melissa McCarthy cam on board. Even less excited.
Then I just lost interest.
I was willing to give it a chance if the trailer was good.
Now I've seen the trailer.
I hope this movie dies a thousand horrible deaths. It looks painfully bad.

Now, I have to say, even though my first impressions were that the film looked crap I did think the reaction was still over the top. I thought Guardians of the Galaxy trailers made it look like a turd, and apparently I'm mistaken about the Warcraft trailers... but we'll see about that.

Now having watched the videos linked above, I only have two things to say.... Kate McKinnon's character seems pretty cool, and the rest of the movie looks like a giant bag of shit.
