Is anyone surprised that Souths once again gets some kind of preferential treatment and the other teams are told to just get over it?
Smith has made it very clear that his representative career is over. Wish everybody just finally notices it and drops the talk of him returning.Deal smeal. We are talking about origin here. And as already mentioned QLD are struggling for centres. If Inglis wants to play in it then he has till June 30 to get on Souths roster again.
And don't be surprised if Cam Smith decides he wants to finish his career in the maroon as well. This years Origin series will be a very different one.

its a pension by stealth . smoke and mirrors maybelet’s be real he wasn’t cutting it before he walked away from his deal. He’s will have had over 18 months out before he runs out for wire. With travel restrictions it could be over 2 years without a game. I’m less convinced he’s going to have an impact over there than I am Sonny Bill will.
GI will be the biggest name on a long list of aussies who can’t handle being away from home etc etc
so he's going over to England and leaving the wife and kids in Aus. Sounds like he's sick of the suburban life and keen to get back to the single footballer lifestyle
And to make his job easier, he has those Nestle' coffee sachets to make the cuppas with.If you looked at any club there's a dozens of former players in similar roles. Darren Lockyer is a board member for broncos, do you think he got the role because of his business acumen

Describing Inglis as a great player, Walters told Fox League Live: “The door is always open for great Queenslanders if they ever want to come back and play, we never shut the door, that’s always our way.
However, that avenue appears to have been closed in recent years with the NRL only allowing players registered in the NRL turn out in Origin.
Tick tock GI. June 30 is just around the corner.
The decent move would be to play on peanuts for the Titans. As a favour for Mal.
Lol.This may come as a shock but based on his more recent form, he’d not make the Titans run on side.

No no no . . . he'll miss his family, his people and his culture. He will need to re-connect. Not passion. Qantas will dust off the aboriginal art decorated plane and fly him home for free. Bit of a smoking ceremony on the tarmac of Kingsford Smith, an obligatory goanna . . . and THEN he will go play at souffs. The cynic in me wonders if after a season at Warrington he "regains his passion for the game" and signs a new contract to play with Souths next season.

Is anyone surprised that Souths once again gets some kind of preferential treatment and the other teams are told to just get over it? They are the darlings of the NRL I still remember the 2014 NRL Grand Final where the entire pre show was dedicated to how great Souths are and how Souths winning will be a great thing for the league. Barely any mention of the Dogs it was gross how biased it all was and that's coming from someone who isn't a fan of either team.
In regards to Super League and Warrington they keep getting bigger and bigger names headed their way which is great for their comp. SBW, Folau and now Inglis are all big signings along with the likes of Maloney, Widdop etc who have had very good NRL careers.
Positive is it could open up an NRL Dream Team Vs Super League Dream Team game down the road. NRL side featuring the likes of Cam Smith, Tedesco, Holmes, Cordner, Ponga etc taking on a Super League side featuring the likes of Inglis, SBW, Folau, Maloney, Widdop etc. Super League team could probably keep it close as well as opposed to a few years back where really average former NRL players would carve up in England.
Picking someone who is a broken down hasbeen who hasn’t played a game in over a year. Yeah nice stuff Keviehttps://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl/q...n/news-story/5aba229d12c3a17feec874dc91dbea85

Clueless. Dude could go on the field with a walking frame he would still probably be better than 80% of the centres in the NRLPicking someone who is a broken down hasbeen who hasn’t played a game in over a year. Yeah nice stuff Kevie
