wake up. hayne has stuffed up this series 10 times more than gidley. with his letting in 37 tries by coming off the wing in game 1 and throwing a pass to the 3rd row. then dropping every bomb in game 2, knocking on all over the place.

I can't believe you can try and peg this series loss on one player.

oh absolutely. Funniest viewing next to seeing Beau Scott in a blue jumper.

Pretty sure chances of retaining possession on kicks would be vastly improved if one of the Blues players just spear tackled him as soon as someone kicked the ball.

poor gidley ....poor poor gidley ,

this guy got so sick of being in a lossing side he switched teams in the 72nd min, instead of being in an attacking position for NSW he was behind the post defending for QLD lol, who the fu*k finds themselves facing their own team and standing behind the goal line while their team is in the opposition 10m trying to score a try?

Is the pain over for gids? let this guy go already

Good player Gidley, however at this level he is about as inspirational as a can of Spam.

These problems began in the final game of the 2008 series, when Bellamy in his wisdom chose Gid's over the then NSW #1 Brett Stewart, leaving Steart on the bench until the final minutes. The following year Snake hits the headlines for all the wrong reasons while being the games pre season poster boy. Gidley becomes entrenched in Bellamy's plans, so much so that he names him Captain. At the time I was stunned, hadn't this bloke seriously only scored the fullback role because Stewart had dudded himself then suffered a season crunching injury?

NSW lost last years series but somehow the masses saw hope in a game three result where Gid's showed courage in catching the final bomb of the match which NSW won. Seriously, Qld were on the juice all week in a dead rubber, I can't believe this result held credibility.... and it came to game two 2010. The captain is selected on the bench, comes on in the 27th minute, gets in the way of everything while trying his guts out. Dead set he was trying too hard and the selectors nailed the blue cofin shut right here. It's dud decision after dud decision when it comes to Origin for Craig Bellamy. And the selectors have no guts to stand up to him, they should all go. Go and get stuffed. We must start from this game. Building with a plan for the future. If we try to focus just on this next 2010 game three... well game two 2011 could end up 60 nil.

As soon as he came on he fumbled a kick and gave QLD the ball back, then 5 minutes later threw a short pass to player who wasn't ready ruining our best attacking oppurtunity in the 1st half. Says it all.

You blokes are kidding. When he came on, he finally got the NSW forwards going forward. Something Ennis failed to do.

Here's a novel idea for the NSW selectors.

Why not pick a genuine fullback who is in good form. Not a winger who has been forced to play at fullback who had a dream run of form for half a season last year and has since done f**k all.

If you are going to pick one-dimensional halves, select a skillful hooker so that there is someone out there as a ball player.

Gidley is a number 6 naturally. Select him there and leave him there if you are adamant he is origin worthy. (which he clearly isn't)

Pick a halfback and f**king stick with them for the entire series ffs. If you show some faith in a halfback, he will quickly show some good form.

The NSW halves are thrown in the deep end and if they don't play their greatest game ever they are dumped. It's quickly become a poisoned chalice.

The one dimensional coach has all but killed any creativity in this team.

Gidley has been QLD best player for years. He wasnt fully responsible for last night there were 16 others with him this time.
