4-0 against a team parking the bus. Pretty good effort. All 3 of Kagawa's goals were well constructed. Nice to see him get a hat-trick. Hopefully will prove a catalyst for him to finally settle in as an important cog in our machine. Rooney's goal was a sublime strike. I just hope he hasn't wasted it in a game that was already won when we might need something similar on Wednesday morning.

To be fair i think we looked like we ran out of energy. It was a very draining week emotionally and physically for the team.

I'm glad it was an FA cup game, now we have a week to sort sh*t out and go win the double.


On a slightly OT topic, we could have 4 north west teams in the semis yet both games have to be at Wembley. Absolutely stupid. Imagine Wigan vs Blackburn at Wembley FFS. Stupid decision and devalues the final. But i digress.

What a shit performance. Bossed the ball in midfield, especially in the first half, but could barely manufacture a shot. Our goal scoring form has dropped right off. As has RVP's personal form. Thank f**k we have such a large lead in the league.

Giggs should never play 90 mins in central mid again. If that is all we have got for the big game then we need to use some of this monster sponsorship deal to buy a new midfielder.

Don't know who. Someone to play along side Carrick. An Alonso (obviously won't be him) type player who can help cover the defence but can pass and take pressure of Carrick.

Fairly lacklustre performance, but the gulf in class was glaringly obvious. We didn't need to shift out of first gear, Stoke are that ordinary. Still annoyed we've lost our goal scoring ability from early in the season. Should have put the foot down and put 5 or 6 past them.

Carrick has been tremendous this season. Him and RVP have been the keys. You're right though. We need another top class mid - a Ronaldo, a Keane, a Beckham, a younger Scholes or Giggs.
